We retained Hammer and Castle's expertise to reno two bathrooms. They did not disappoint.The first bathroom required the completion of a 2yr prior half started reno. New to this project, they successfully completed/updated while being able to match existing cabinets and hardware installed previously. The updated bathroom now boasts a beautifully tiled shower with glass enclosure, updated fixtures, gorgeous new flooring....it's stunning.The 2nd bathroom was a total gut. They converted a horribly outdated bathroom to a spa like showpiece...it's so elegant!! New tiled shower with glass enclosure, floor to ceiling tiles on one wall, stand alone bathtub, top of the line flooring, beautiful vanity, numerous modes of lighting....the list goes on.From beginning to end our experience with Steph, Peter and team was positive.The design team very intuitive....an extremely good read on their client's wish list. Good discussions which resulted in good decisions.Our house was respected right from the get go. Drop sheets everywhere!! Work area tidied nightly!! Our personal space/time respected.Any questions/concerns responded to in a timely fashion.Project started and completed in timeframe promised. That's huge!!!Looking forward to working with Hammer and Castle on future projects.

Stephanie and Peter at Hammer and Castle are not onky great people and easy to work with, but they do exceptional work as well! I will deffinately be referring all my family and friends!

The team was amazing to work with. They were patient and had solutions and suggestions for all our ideas. I loved the final result and it was a great experience. My updated office/workout room is a perfect use of the limited space and Peter managed to use every inch for storage because he knew that was one of our main challenges in our home. He also created a custom space for my kids and changed the flow of traffic in what was once a chaotic area... now its perfect. Thank you!

Installation of Feature Wall Fireplace and Live Edge MantleWe had a great experience with Hammer & Castle. They installed a feature fireplace wall with split-face stone and a live edge mantle. We communicated our vision to Peter, and he went above and beyond to make it happen. He was professional, timely, clean, and meticulous with details.Not only did he complete the feature wall, but made several suggestions and modifications to make it look even better than what we had envisioned. We will definitely use the team for our future projects.

Peter saved my bathroom renovation from these previous contractors I hired that botched the job and I had to tell them to walk half way through.Peter was able in 4 days to fix all the issues with their work, install the shower kit, install the tile, toilet, vanity, mirror, paint and fixed the exhaust fan. Peter was professional, truthful, efficient, clean and work was great.The biggest thing I appreciated was that he stands by his work. There was a deficiency with the shower kit that I noticed after the job was finished; which, to me was understandable since he was fixing a botched job. He came back as soon as possible and fixed the issue and now I have a bathroom that looks great, works and is safe. I would easily recommend Peter to anyone since he did a great job and is reliable to stand by his work.

Peter rescued my renovation when I couldn’t complete the tile work in a basement shower. I was able to quickly book him for a quote and the work was done on time and on budget. On top of being professional Peter left the work space clean and tidy every day and went out of his way to get some additional parts that were needed. We are so pleased with the outcome of the project!

Peter worked on just about every aspect of my colonial villa in Rio de Janeiro - roofing, tiling, furniture, ventilation, electrics. He built my recording study from scratch. Installed, repaired bathrooms, bedrooms. (I had 15 of these, en suite.) I cannot recommend him highly enough. Competent to a very high standard in all aspects of building work, professional, timely, always reasonable - and great to deal with. If I had property in Toronto I would know where to go to get some stylish, reliable work done.
