We had our friendsmas and birthday dinner. It was so busy inside, so make sure to book reservations at this location. We sat by the fireplace, so it was so cozy. Our server was awesome. He knew the menu and had good recommendations, and we never had to look for him. He was very informative. The food was delicious as always. I always order the baseball steak with the twice baked potato, wedge salad with blue cheese and vegetables. It always tastes the same, so it's always good! We also ordered the prime rib, calamari, cauliflower, and Billy miner cake. These are great options for apps and dessert.

Honestly everything tasted pretty meh. Like it’s not distasteful, but it’s also not mind-blowing. We spent $500 for 6 people— which is a lot. The customer service was pretty mediocre, only the server which was was an Asian man was very nice. The food is super overpriced and I think they must Lower the price. One way is by reducing the employment in the restaurant— there were literally NINE people standing and doing nothing by the front door, no wonder the price is expensive. The steak was okay and the calamari was basic tempura-style.

We were looking forward to celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary at The Keg yesterday. However, we were left feeling like it was a regular dinner and it didn't feel special.When I made the reservation, I selected the anniversary" option under occasions. You would think it would be relayed to the server but it wasn't. Our server never asked if we were celebrating anything but we overheard other servers asking other guests. We also didn't want to mention it to the server because it would sound weird.Dinner service was normal overall

I have been to the Keg in Montreal multiple times - Ottawa once. It was fantastic. But this one was just plain disappointing! The service was pathetic - our server seemed depressed and super unhappy - our plates were hot - food cold! Tasted okay. Also - the person who brought out our order was just plain rude! We were there for a birthday - were not impressed! I would give this place a minus star if possible!

Ordered the 20 oz rib steak (like usual). Was expecting a good steak like every other time I'd been here - nothing spectacular but just a good, decent, tasty steak. Well, I don't know what they did differently this time but it was spectacular! Easily up there with the 3 best rib steaks I've ever had and that includes dry aged ones as well.

I have been very impressed with the Keg post pandemic. Not sure if they have changed food/meat suppliers but I have noticed a major step up in their quality and consistency. As somebody that has been to many high end steakhouses, what you get for what you pay at the Keg makes it very hard to ever go back to a Harbour 60 or a Jacobs & Co. The bill for my family (5 of us) which included 3 appetizers, 5 mains, a dessert and a generous tip was all under $300! That’s an absolute steal! You will spend that for 2 steaks and 2 sides at one of those “cool” steakhouses. The service is also always good here and honestly all the other Kegs I have gone to as well. Highly recommend.

Valentines 2023 the place is packed. It’s advisable to reserve during occasions like valentines. The place is always clean and cozy, dim lighting, and nice washrooms. My steak was great and love the bread and garlic butter, of course, Billy miner’s pie ice cream! Wine selection is good and brews as well. I like coming here.

Great beer selections, great steaks, great chocolate cakes!We had a group dinner here. The atmosphere is fantastic. The outdoor seating adds so much fun.The service is on point. Our server was prompt, attentive and knowledgeable.I was impressed with the lager and IPA offerings. The beers are fresh and delicious. For entre, I ordered the prime rib. It’s so well prepared. This is something you want to write home about.To finish off we ordered the chocolate cake to share. It is sooo good. You should definitely try it.I didn’t realize it’s a chain. But it’s equally impressive now I realize it is a chain. They can keep the food quality and service at such a high level being a chain. Highly recommend. It’s good for leisure or business settings.

Consistently great food, quick and friendly service and fair prices. The Keg at Heartland never fails to deliver!We’ve been here many times and have always had an excellent dining experience. It’s also nice to see that they are not price gauging like many other restaurants post-pandemic.If you’re looking to treat yourself to a nice meal I recommend The Keg at Heartland.

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. Well served by Matt. All the items were delicious and good value for money. They even gave us a complimentary slice of cake the celebrate the occasion. Loved the Prime Rib and the fried onions that came with it. The iceberg salad was also delicious. Highly recommended for a steak meal.
