They will take care of you. *Thee* go-to Bug/Vanagon/VW shop in town, bar none. They are simply the best place to take your Volkswagen, highly recommended. Extremely good customer service.

Poor business practices. Despite a large private lot behind their repair shop, this business every morning, moves their project cars onto David St into 2 hour only" or "15 minute loading zone". The cars are left there all day

My previous experiences with this shop were very good. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, however this time was a lot different. After explaining the problem to the service writer about the hatch release on our 2009 Jetta wagon, I made an appointment for August 6th. I dropped off the car at 6:30 am and put keys in the slot with a reminder about the problem and that I would return at 2:30 pm. I drove by in my work vehicle at 12:30 and noticed that ours had not moved. I saw the owner out front and inquired about the status. He said no one had looked at it yet and asked if they had the keys. He then said it would be going in right away.I returned at 2:30 to find a technician working at diagnosis. He was not confident that the problem could be fixed that day. We needed the car back, so I rescheduled an appointment with the service writer for the 19th of August.I again dropped off the car at 6:30 am. Put keys and a reminder in the box, went to work.I returned at 2:30 pm to find that the service writer had no idea abut the status of our car, which was right in front of the shop, then he asked me if I had dropped the keys in the box. I turned around to look in the dropbox and saw my keys and note. He had not even looked at the schedule clearly and did not look in the box. Total waste of time, x 2. Not happy. We now are going away for a vacation, so who knows when our car will be fixed. I suspect we will reluctantly take it to another shop when we return.

They keep a variety of essential parts on hand of which other places had none/were out of stock. They made our trip to the Island even more special. Friendly & knowledgeable staff.

These guys have been helping me care for my Maroon Goon since day one. Anyone who owns a classic beetle knows they take a lot of work. For anything that I can't do myself, I go to the Autohaus. They have very reasonable rates and are extremely knowledgeable. I wouldn't take her anywhere else.
