Anatolia Turkish Cuisine
One of the best spots for food in the farmer’s market. Food is prepared with great care, and this is evident in the presentation and taste. Everything we’ve ordered is prepared fresh and lives up to the hype. The breads, boreks and desserts are equally delightful. And there’s solid options for vegetarians as well (baked eggplant!)Highly recommended and always looking forward to visiting again.

Low quantity (very small). so, the price is considered to be high comparing to other reasturants. If you are really hungry, one dish will not be enough for you. Be ready to order a second dish.I ordered lamb shank $13.95. It is good for a baby. For an adult you need two. So, I paid $28 for two dishes.

Lovely people. First time trying Turkish food. Can't go wrong with the skewers! Charred quite well and the seasoning is tasty. Wish the salad had more zing to it.

Had the lamb shank- sorry guys way overpriced and underwhelming. Not much meat on it and I would say average tenderness if not a little on the chewy side. Too many potatoes came with the meal by far. I would say increase meat and decrease potatoes that would likely not happen. $$$$ for what you get.

I’ve been wanting to try Anatolia for a while and finally made the trip down to Crossroads Market. The lamb shank meal is $13.49, the price increased but it’s still a great price for such amazing food. This dish was everything I expected and more. Super flavourful sauce, delicious well-dressed salads, rice was perfectly cooked, and the tzatziki was amazing. The meat falls right off the bone. I was super impressed by the quality of food and the portion size. Fresh and delicious. It’s a lovely family run booth - we saw people of all ages working and helping out in the kitchen. Super friendly staff. You can tell they have great food by how long the lines are. Well worth the wait.

Lamb shank platter was so tender, I didn't need a knife! Absolutely everything was tasty. The beef borek was buttery and the best I ever had so far. Hot sauce was fresh and a generous portion. Fresh pide was so good, we ate the whole bag today too.

Delicious Turkish food, honestly tastes almost better than what we had in Turkey. The chicken kebap and lamb shank are the things we usually get. The bulgar wheat salad and rice and yogurt sauce that comes with it is also delicious. Tried their lahmacun today which was also tasty. Probably the beat stall at the farmers market.

Decent shawarma place, it's kinda different compared to the other shawarma places in the city. Quantity of food can be better.

Very small portion, each dish is exactly same except if customer want shank, beef, chicken or whatever they will add a piece of that item and call a different name. Mediterranean salad is total bogus not meditation at all. Every dish has this salad, white bean, bulky white rice and still see the picture what is portion size. The rates charged are higher even their google pics are misleading what they serve and charge. Not a welcoming staff, no smile. Prices are different than what been shown on Facebook marketplace. My comments are for take out from Crossroad Anatolia SE Calgary branch.

located inside crossroad market - I always end up coming back here as the flavours are wonderful and pricing vs value is reasonable for fresh authentic food. I would recommend the eggplant meal but those who love lamb shank must try that as well. The skewers are made fresh to order and can take some time. They work very efficiently here. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the Bali cake - although if you like simple and not a strong flavour/not too sweet, it may be perfect for you. Dishes (platters) go from $9-15 and there are plenty of good priced sides as well.
