Stopped here for a nice lunch. I had a beef dip and my golf partner had breaded salmon-on-a-stick. We both enjoyed our meals and each had a local Sooke Oceanside Brewery beer, also excellent. Now that it’s off the highway things seem more relaxed and laid back. Definitely would go back again

Very pleased! The building has so much character, but we came on a Saturday evening wanting to chat and opted for the patio, which was less noisy. There was music bingo going on inside and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The patio was lovely and spacious, with enough heating to be comfy. We were really impressed with all of the food that we ordered - the portions weren't exactly generous, but everything was much better than we expected from pub food. I'm excited to come back for music bingo!

Well my partner wanted to come here for lunch as it was her Birthday. We always try to support local, but wow where we unimpressed.First off we both ordered beef dips. Now I understand it's a pub" but come-on.1. The beef was barely warm.2. Au Jus seemed like it was just sitting in bowl for hours.3. We got offered a refill on our ICE tea

Very consistent over the years. A nice local establishment with great food and service. It's always busy as people keep coming back. Nice outdoor patio for warm days.

Our family loves this place. Been coming here for decade and finally managed to post review!Great food and service! My favourite is Jerk chicken what a tasty sandwich can't get enough of it! Burgers are great and kids love they food as well. Wife loves the chicken curry!

Had an excellent lunch here (salmon burger), and my wife had the chowder which was also great. It's been a few years since I had eaten here and definitely feels like a big improvement in this area. Service was great, and it's such a cool old building. Definitely recommend!
