Oliver Garden Restaurant
Worst Chinese food we’ve ever had since we moved here 7 years ago!We hoped they had improved… nope.Prawns had so much batter, and the boneless pork was very tough and the chicken chow main had nothing in them and absolutely no flavour.

Oliver Garden Restaurant
We were up visiting my Dad from Victoria and took him to the Oliver Garden Restaurant. The food was delicious, fresh and of good quality. Ivan served us; he was funny, quick and efficient. There was lots of people ordering take away and a few people in the restaurant. This Chinese restaurant was one of the best we have ever been to, excellent value, my Dad said the same, and believe me, to have a 95 year old say such positive things, it’s gotta be awesome!! Thanks so much, we will definitely be back!!

Excellent egg rolls. Pretty good sweet and sour boneless pork. Chicken chow mein was on the dry side. Beef chop suey was OK. We were the only people in the restaurant at 6:30 on a Friday night.Young son (10ish) was our waiter. He could learn to smile and be a little friendlier.

We arrived and were seated promptly although the waitress didn’t saunter over until much later. The buffet was adequate with a decent selection of Western Style Chinese food which wasn’t exactly promptly refilled as I kept having to ask the waitresses if items would be replenished, despite those challenges I was able to eat my fill, the restaurant was not busy, steady but by no means full as more than 3/4 of the restaurant was empty which seemed odd for a Saturday nite. Another odd thing was no rice dish was offered on the buffet, no white rice, no fried rice, nothing, weird considering in any Asian country, rice is the foundation of any meal, anything else is secondary. The decor is very tired looking most of the semi matching furniture looks like it’s been there for a very long time and the ancient kitschy Chinese New Years decorations have been there even longer, regardless it’s comfortable although I wasn’t brave enough to use the washroom there.

Excellent Chinese restaurant with great menu and delicious food. Compliment to the chef.Service was fast and courteous by Louis.Highly recommend curry chicken, satay chicken, sweet and sour pork, mushrooms with vegetables and wonton soup .The location is very easy to found and the place is so cozy . Price affordable and generous portions. We , party of 3, will go back soon.

Take out made me sick. Ordered combo E with deep fried chicken wings to go. No gravy on the almond chicken, noodles were bland, and the wings looked and felt like they were deep fried twice.(Meat was just as soft as the bones).

Food is ok. But the young kid who serves needs to have a talking to as far as I'm concerned. Incredibly rude every time I go. I only get take out and I usually would tip. As my service has always been very poor, I lowered my tip to 10 percent. The kid gave me attitude and slammed my food in the bag and didn't give me soy or plum sauce. Next time I tip 10 percent, remember this is take out, shouldnt even be tipping. I asked if he put plum sauce in the bag. He said yes but lied and didn't put any in. I just went again and no tip this time. The kid was so rude after I paid. I asked will I have to wait 20 minutes like I have been the last couple of times. Instant attitude. I've been told to come in 20 minutes numerous times and I'll show up to see nobody else there and maybe 1 other order but had to wait 20 to 30 minutes extra each time. I feel for the family because that kid is driving people away. Teach your son some respect and manners. Incredibly appalling to see. Bring back sizzling rice.

Good food. Good prices. Good service. Restaurant was clean. The staff was really friendly. Average wait time for take out. The locals recommended this place. I'm not from the area but I'd eat here again if I was passing thru Oliver.
