The cocktails were unbalanced and overpriced for the quality. The food was bland (we got the vegetarian tacos) and left us hungry and fairly disappointed. The servers were kind and the atmosphere was nice, but based on the food and drink, I don’t see myself going back.

Outings these days are less frequent for my partner and myself and although it’s good to try new places, we find ourselves at Else’s most of the time. The ambiance is always welcoming and cozy and the food, simple yet flavourful. The drinks hit the spot and don’t hurt your wallet too much due to some nice 2for1 happy hour specials. It doesn’t stop at the menu. The staff is also very friendly and hard working, causing us to leave with a smile each time. Lastly, just when you think you’ve seen it all, they guide you towards the world’s best slice of carrot cake you’ve ever had (sorry mum). Please give this place a chance or 2 and you won’t regret it!

We happened upon this place while exploring the neighborhood and stopped in during a heavy rain storm and again a few days later. One of the most beautiful, charming and attractive bars I have ever been to. We had a very romantic and fun time here.

This is a bar not a restaurant reallyThe food was so badWe ordered 3 different dishes (menu was si brief), all tastelessThe ribs were packaged food obviouslyAs a bar it is a good place to spend some time with friends but as a restaurant, nope.

Else's offers a good lunch-during-the-day bar-at-night service in a great location. Day service is a bit slow but there are few customers so it offered apt privacy; at a certain point, we had the restaurant to ourselves. The food was delicious and I will certainly come back with friends.

A real cornerstone of the Plateau community. Always an eclectic mix of people who appreaciet the laid-back vibe. Summer is nice here, when the windows are wide open and you get that cross-breeze going. Best of all, the food is a notch above regular pub fare, and the whisky selection is excellent. Always a chill, fun time to be had. Long live, Else's!

Cozy pub with a very eclectic vibe. The cocktails are quite good, I recommend trying the mojito. The food portions are on the smaller side. Pulled pork sliders tasted great, and the tacos were just okay.The happy hour 2 for 1 unfortunately doesn’t include their cocktails for some reason, it’s on their “simple” drinks like rum & coke.

Amazing cozy place hidden from the hustle bustle of st-Laurent street. Really nice ambiance and amazing stuffs. I had some best cocktails here (Spcly Chile) . Bartender will customize your drinks according to your liking. Beers are cheap only 5 $ and food is also good. Surprisingly Butter chiken plate was good and wholesome. Salmon & Chiken wings were ok. For fun you can leave some secrets in their Jars
