St. Gregory's Catholic Church

I was there when the church was built. Knew many of the pastors. The present one all but destroyed the parish in Orangeville and now you have this poor excuse for a priest. He doesn't practice what he preaches. I have no resect for the Archdiocese for shuffling this guy around after I complained about him.

On April 15, 2023 I went with my child to the St. Gregory church for a rehearsal for the first communion (at least I thought will be a rehearsal). All kids stayed in the church and their parents/guardians went to the basement for a presentation/ retreat by Julia & Adam Kozak. The presentation lasted about two hours and was a commercial one showing us the self-importance of Julia and Adam. There was a 50 minutes interesting video about parts of the liturgical celebration made by a priest. Rest of the time was worthless. There wasn’t mention about the first communion program, what parents have to do, if there are filming or photo allowed. There were questions and Adam said he does not know and people from the church explain to the kids everything. I was very surprised to hear that Adam as a lay pastoral associate, a professionally-trained lay person, employed by St Gregory parish to work alongside with Father Sean for the overall care of the parish does not know how the first communion ceremony works. Does father Sean check the work of his associates? I hope the new Archbishop Francis Leo will check the activities of each church and will take appropriate actions.

This is my home church because my family works there and I love this church it brings back memories
