Went here last night with my son. Both of us had a fabulous time. We arrived about 30 min before the show without reservations. It was our first time here and we hadn’t realized that they were a good idea. We were told that we would be seated at the back and moved in time for the show if there were any no shows. We both had the halibut (which was very tasty!). Turned out that we were in luck. And after dinner, a few minutes before the show, we got moved to wonderful seats right in front of the state. The performance was fantastic. All in all, a lovely evening in a great venue.

With the closure of Biddle's, it is nice to see Montreal still has a great venue. Small in size (intimate), but huge on delivering a great experience. Dropped in and it exceeded expectations. Had the chance to sit next to some Jazz students who were visiting with their music professor and ended up meeting Gary, the owner. Can't say enough about this place...great food, a very reasonable price for a nice bottle of wine...and an exceptional live band. Didn't try their beers...but the tap list looked great

Cool dark place with a nice jazzy underground ambiance. They have live music everyday and an interesting food and drinks menu. The bands are generally diverse and professional. Usually, the cover charge is about 12-25$ per head.Only drawback is that they add the cover charge to your food/drink bill and demand to be tipped on the cover charge as well, which is a bit disappointing. Just increase the price of the entrance fee by 15% and do not demand tips on these fees.

Forget the jazz, go there for the food! Steak was absolutely amazing. Quite possibly the best steak I’ve had in my life. I’m pretty cheap but i’d go back every week and pay the $40 to eat it again…also go there for the jazz.

Food was good, amazing musicians.But I couldn't enjoy 100% because people were talking too loudly.. from the tables in front of the kitchen.. if you can get the table or bar near the musicians, it'd be perfect to enjoy the music.

Don’t miss it if you re a jazz lover. Great ambiance. Intimate and Cosy place. Excellent staff. Food is savoury with generous quantity and cocktails as well.

Amazing atmosphere and music. Wonderful place to people watch. I didn’t love my cocktail, I’d order a beer next time. Also quite affordable.
