Really great service by knowledgeable ladies. They make custom corsets even for plus sized ladies so don't hesitate to contact them for a fitting, they fit you with an exsisting corset to see what style you like, and then you chose what sort of things you'd like to change and the fabrics used. They provide good directions for care of your corset and lacing/tightening. The fabrics are robust and long lasting, boning is metal- these are actual corsets, not the flimsy plastic and satin lingerie you find everywhere.

Fantastic experience! I absolutely adore my cotton corset. It was recommended to me by my healthcare practitioner to consider torso compression, and then another friend recommended Lace Embrace. I booked a corset fitting and settled on a red cotton Edwardian. I have worn it every day for the last month. Ever since then, it's improved my health and sleep to a degree I didn't imagine was possible from a corset! I have thankfully increased my sleeping time from 6-8.5 hrs to 7-9 hrs, which I've desperately needed. They were so helpful at the shop and I will definitely be buying more corsets from Lace Embrace. I highly recommend supporting this business for their customer service and quality corsets.

Absolutely amazing for customer service. Marina went above and beyond for helping me find my first (and most perfect) classic corset. The amount of TLC they give to each customer in making sure it fits properly was grand. Also, they supply a lacing lesson for beginners, which is a selling point all on it's own. This is the place for vintage inspired lingerie and, most definitely, corsets! xx

I went in to talk about having a custom wedding dress made, and got a really fabulous session of trying on different styles of corsets to see what works best for me. Melanie was super friendly, and I'm really looking forward to what we end up with once I've made some decisions. The store is really cozy and inclusive- especially when looking for a wedding dress, many places I've been to tend to not have any stock in anything over a size 8. Size wasn't an issue to trying on some really gorgeous pieces. I ended up leaving with an everyday" corset because I found them to be so comfortable and enjoyable to wear. With just a few measurements and requested photos, These guys altered an off the rack corset to fit my body over email. I'm very impressed! I also got my corset in hand withen two weeks. I'm extremely pleased, and will be using them in the future.

When I walked into the shop with some silly little doodles over a year ago, I was sure I couldn't find anything close to what I had dreamt up for my wedding. But from the moment I walked in I was greeted with so much warmth, kindness and enthusiasm for my Edwardian theme. Melanie was able to offer expert historical advice at every turn and guide me through the process.I ended up with an absolutely *stunning* custom Azira corset adapted from an 1906 pattern as well as a beautiful ensemble that was altered from period pieces and remnants. Even the smallest details such as the reticule, which was sewn from antique lace collars was more lovely than I could have imagined. On my wedding day I felt every bit as though I had stepped out of a portrait, and I was swept up in the most lovely dream, and in large part I have Lace Embrace to thank for that.

I went here to purchase a corset for my wedding. I then bought a skirt on Etsy to go with it but it was way too big.Lace Embrace offered to tailor both the corset and the skirt to my size and liking and it was perfect. Every staff member was phenomenal and really took the time to ensure everything was exactly as needed. They are absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you so much!!
