DLR Clothing & Jamaican Patty Shop

The vintage clothing store was a terrible place to shop. First and foremost, the prices were insanely overpriced for the condition of the clothing. Many of the items were stained or had obvious signs of wear, yet the store owner insisted on charging exorbitant amounts for them. The store also had an odd smell that seemed to be a mixture of musty old clothes and something else that was indescribable.The customer service was equally as terrible as the prices and smell. The store owner was rude and unaccommodating, and seemed to have no desire to assist customers in any way. It was clear that the owner was only interested in making a profit, rather than providing a positive shopping experience for their customers. I am here searching for the “so many happy customers” this guy talks about. His 2.6 average rating clearly states otherwise. The in store clothing options are sub-par and as many comments have stated overpriced. I genuinely don’t understand who runs a business this way, taking advantage of kids for free work. I am surprised this guy hasn’t been investigated. I recommend checking out the patch instead put your money to supporting a business that treats its workers fairly. notice how he never addresses not paying his workers in his review responses…

most unprofessional human being on this planet. hires teen girls and works them without paying them, has done this to multiple girls i know. so unreliable and so unprofessional. do NOT work here, let alone support this man. his 2.6 star rating on google and 1 star rating on facebook speaks for itself. tony, you’re a fraud.

Rude owner, does not pay employees. Will hire without paperwork and not pay them. Do not work or shop here.

Store was incredibly hard to find. Smelt like wet diarrhoea in the store. Store owner was clearly upset and outraged. Prices were outrageously overpriced and not Japanese grade. There were no Salem tags to be found.

most terrible store owner/employer god put on this green earth. worked me for 33 hours and did not ever pay me, it has been 3 weeks. after i had asked him why i had not been paid on our scheduled payroll day, he ghosted me. still owes me and 2 of my other female friends money for working shifts for him. has a long history of hiring teenage girls and working them without paying them (see reviews from 8 months ago for proof). do not work here and do not support this business.

Tony does not pay this employees! One of my roomates worked here for a long time and he didn’t pay her. She texted and called and until she threatened with lawyers he wouldn’t pay. He hires you without paperwork and overworkes you. He is always high and rude. Do not work here or support this business!

Super unfriendly store owner, does not pay workers on time or at all and is often rude to customers. Clothing quality is also disappointing as it is torn or dirty.

Clothing is overpriced and arranged in random piles. Shop is run down and dirty. Had picked out a few items but walked out after the owner barged in and started berating the poor girl working there in front of us. Buddy can keep his tattered $40 Champion sweats and his arrogance and should probably seek therapy and find himself a good cardiologist. Anger issues can be dangerous at 60. Do not support this absolute clown.

terrible man… he doesn’t pay his employees. he seemed like a great guy when he offered me the job.. but i was proven wrong immediately. also very unorganized and unprofessional.
