Mohammad is a great structural engineer. The quality of his work is outstanding. I was impressed by the drawings he provided and the city of Pickering was pleased to have such clear and precise drawings. It took 6 weeks to get the building permit approved, which is quiet fast. GrandDesign was solicited to design an interior hallway extension to cover the opening above the main entry door. Mohammad’s structural engineering services were reasonably priced and he delivered the permit drawings quickly. As a DIY-er who performed all the work on this project, I relied on his drawing to complete the framing process.The drawings were fairly good but the connections for a diagonal beam were missed and it was not clear how to secure the pieces. Luckily Mohammad kept in touch and provided the missing information. At the end of the framing stage the city required a completion/inspection letter from Mohammad and he again provided all the services needed to finalize this process (at extra cost). I would definitely consider working with Mohammad again for my next project.
