Best tonkatsu restaurants in Edmonton. Good quality, good portion. I had my first older on today lunch time, and I ordered it again for dinner. So tasty.

We tried the tonkatsu and cheese tonkatsu and it was delicious. The meat was tender and crispy and not dry. The sauces had a lot of depth and flavour! I highly recommend trying it out!

Ordered one Mega Original Tonkatsu & 1 Chicken Katsu online and pick up at a designated time. We got there early and the person working in the shop managed to get our order done asap! Both Katsu are big portion, they tastes great, seasoning done nicely and crispy. Tonkatsu was just slightly overcooked but overall it is good value and would try other Katsu too.

Very disappointed with the food. I tried the pork katsu with cheese, there's hardly any meat as you can see from the photos. The meat was removed and only the edge has a tiny bit of meat stuck to it!!! The chicken karage also has hardly any meat and tasted weird. The rice was also inedible, it's all dried up most likely from days before. I also had a stomachache after having a few pieces. Will never eat from here again! And also very overpriced for what they serve! $26 for the pork katsu??!!

Ordered delivery, food arrived hot and still have the great crispy texture. Portion sizes are huge! Each combo could easily feed 2 people with some extra rice. The salad dressing is lovely as well.

So delicious! There’s no signage outside of the restaurant itself, so you have to use the address to identify the store. The food is so fresh and delicious, the portion sizes are huge. Quite simply reminds me of tonkatsu in Japan. Will certainly be a regular here!

It's part of a bigger kitchen in a strip mall. Look for the window with lots of restaurant signs.The portions are body crippling large and delicious. 10/10 would tonkatsu again.

Best tonkatsu in Edmonton. We’ve eaten lots of tonkatsu in Japan and this is the first Edmonton restaurant that makes tonkatsu most similar to what you would eat in Japan!We tried the Mega and Cheese tonkatsu. Both were excellent. The panko breading is crispy and flanky. Meat was tender and juicy, not dry at all. The cabbage salad with ginger miso dressing was very good. Also get miso soup and rice with each tonkatsu set.My wife is typically just ok with tonkatsu, but she loved it so much and wouldn’t stop talking about it for the rest of the evening. This place is definitely making it onto our restaurant rotation list.It is takeout only with no place to sit to eat inside. Order from their website and you get 10% off.Because it operates as a ghost kitchen of sorts, it shares the same kitchen with Sushi Wave, Poke California, and Chuck Burgers. There is no signage for Mega Tonkatsu at all. Just look for the Sushi Wave sign on the store front window.
