ACQBUILT

Be very careful working with ACQBuilt!Recently i was referred over to ACQBuilt to take a look at their product to frame our houses. I first spoke to the General Manager Francisco and emailed in a set of plans for pricing. After 2 phone calls and 2 emails, i finally received a call back from the estimator, Chris.Chris submitted a quote to me and i called him on the phone to review the quote. Deciding i would take a look at the product, we set up a meeting at the ACQ plant. We toured the plant and then went to the upstairs boardroom and reviewed the scope of work and price once again.i then agreed to use the company for this job and even forwarded another home for pricing.Confirming a price to my client, I took the build to contract. It was signed and deposit sent to the lawyers.2 weeks later, i received an email from Chris indicating a price increase of $76,115! A glitch in their quoting system. WOW!Next step was to call the General Manager to discuss and try and work something out. This triplex was in contract. He did not call back my first 2 messages and then he was contacted by the company that referred me to them they currently do work with. In the conversation it was that agreed ACQBuild blew it and something will have to be done. He needed to take it to the owners board to discuss and would call back. After 1 week waiting for a call back, I called again.GHOSTED! no return call.What a big public professional company!Again, be very careful with a company conducting business in this fashion.Keith TakaokaBlair Homes Inc.

I enjoyed my time with this company. The employees there kept it fun on your long days. Work was steady when most places aren't.

Building houses fast and efficiently. Any size, any style!

We used ACQBuilt for our acreage house build. We were very happy with how everything went from start to finish. Chris was our main contact and he was easy to get a hold of, fast to respond to our questions and always kept us updated. He helped us work through some issues (nothing wrong from their end - just changes we had to make). They did excellent work, kept the site clean and all their workers were respectful and personable. Our doors were late to be delivered (from another company) and they made a special trip to put plastic up so the house was more weatherproof. Thanks to all the staff involved in our house build!! (Ryan, Fransisco, Christian, Clinton, Andre...and anyone I missed!!)

Mike and Tyler helped us in repairing vinyl siding that was damaged during rough grading. They stand by their work!

ACQBUILT has extremely unprofessional management. There is 0 communication whatsoever, they have taken on more work than they can handle. Turn over rate is VERY high. Employees in management positions that shouldn't be. Apprentices are NOT paid apprenticeship wages. Company does not support WCB claims.

I wanted to thank Curt, Francisco, Rick, Fabian, Ryan, Chris Z, Chris C and the rest of the ACQBUILT team for the exceptional service, professionalism and build quality.The 3D walk through caught multiple items omitted by our architect and the on site crews were very respectful to the challenges in building in a mature neighbourhood. When meeting the framing inspector on site, he took a quick look around and said “oh good it’s an ACQBUILT” did a quick look and provided a green sticker. Great process from start to finish!

10/10!! I cannot say enough great things about our experience with ACQBuilt. The virtual discovery prior to framing was huge, allowed us to make some key changes, last minute. The build got the attention of the entire neighborhood and they fully framed our 3500 sq/ft house in four days; with exceptional quality and cleanliness.We'd never consider using traditional framing after our experience with ACQ.Cheers to the team.

I had an enfill house in westmount built and delivered by Acqbuilt few years ago. I have to say that was the best experience anybody could wish for while building a house. The construction, the material used, the site cleaniness, the efficiency and the proffessionalism we had was fantastic! We recommend Acqbuilt to all our friends and family, in fact another friend of ours build their home with acabuilt and have only great things to say about the company and experience.Thank you for a great experience and beautiful home!
