World Gym North Bay

This is an outstanding facility ran by the very nice and welcoming staff, from the time you walk in to when you leave, the staff are very down to earth and always can put a smile on your face. Theres so many good things I can say. From the comfort of the gym, to the space, the machines, even the amazing selection of goodies in the fridge. This gym is definitely one to check out. Best around FOR SURE

Best gym in town by far in every aspect. The team there is incredible, so friendly and helpful. Facilities are stacked with all the best equipment, clean, spacious and overall incredible atmosphere. They’re community involved unlike the other gyms in town that are just faceless businesses, worldgym north bay has a great heart and soul thanks to the management, staff and members they’ve got there.

*BE ADVISED OF CANCELATION FEE* Gym was great while I was there, but now that I'm trying to cancel my membership they say there is a 60 day cancelation notice so I need to pay for the next 60 days including maintenance fee. Not to mention that I was locked in for a year and was never told that was the case when I signed up seeing as I was only going to be living in North Bay for 4 months. Inexpensive to sign up but expensive to cancel..

Spoke a gentleman a few months ago about my wife not feeling safe in this establishment I had left a review not entirely disclosed as to why as I don't think hurting the business was really needed however after speaking with this gentleman for about 20 minutes and explain why my wife does not feel safe due to the number of safety concerns at this establishment roof always leaking much needed repairs throughout the building and he understood exactly why I was reaching out to cancel her membership was told that there was absolutely no problem with cancellation of her membership due to the fact this establishment was in the news for thier safety issues not just once either. Regardless I was told that cancellation is not a problem at he knew exactly what account it was and her name. Now fast forward a few months unbeknownst to us our account was still being charged and today I received a call from a collection agency for this account at world gym. I would like the person whom I spoke with to please call me and explain why this has happened. Sincerely an upset person

Would not recommend this gym. There is only good reviews as members who are close to the manager have been asked privately to post positive reviews after some fallout between the manager and previous members - the situation that occurred would have looked very bad on the gym.In addition, the gym is quite dirty and there is always issues with the roofing and flooding. There is also mould everywhere.The “red room” that members pay $15 WEEKLY (the price is specifically to have access to that section) for are locked out twice a day almost every day for private “lifting lessons”. How is that fair for paying members on tight schedules that pay a lot of $$ to get access to that roomI could go on about the issues with this gym but there’s too many to type - just be aware the employees are only kind to SOME people and very judgmental to others. I have not had any personal issues but I’ve seen it.

I am not a fan of North Bay's World Gym. In the main facility there is only 1 squat rack and no additional bars or area to deadlift. Really, if you want to deadlift in this gym, you'll need to pay for their VIP Plus room, which is just not worth the money. The YMCA has 6 squat racks, plenty of additional bars/plates and lots of room to deadlift. It's also cheaper.The change rooms are dirty, showers look as though they haven't been cleaned in months, and their is just a general unkempt atmosphere. I highly suggest the YMCA or even GoodLife over World Gym.

Good environment, great staff and friendly people. Would be nice if the equipment was repaired faster, some equipment has been broken for a few months now.

By far the best facility around town bang for buck wise. This gym is mint from the staff, to management, to the equipment and the facility itself. The people and gym environment become a second family and home. Especially Kristen L, Darby, and Elaine have all been exceptional in every aspect truly providing a great experience daily. You will not find more down to earth and personable employees in a gym setting here locally. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend World Gym to anyone. I am certainly satisfied thus far and have been blown away by my experience at this facility for the last close to 2 years.
