Hotel Harbour Grace

Yes both my partner and I stayed there for a numbers of days a few summers ago. It was just a great place to stay. In fact we hoping to go back there this summer but could not get reservations on the ferry for our planned time.

It was ok for the price I guess....it’s very old needs some updating . We had to ask for extra pillows which were not in our room which I think it should be including an extra blanket . The light bulb was not working in the entrance as soon as we enter the room . The coffee taste horrible which was provide with our room that’s why I gave it a 3 out of 5 for cleaniness

I just spent a very comfortable and quiet Saturday night at the Hotel Harbour Grace. My room was clean and spacious with two queen beds, phone, TV, internet, fridge/freezer and coffee maker. My smoking" room was in the "Motel" section...a separate little building containing 8 or 9 rooms along one long "hallway"...the last two rooms are "smoking" and I was delighted to pay only $89.00 plus tax for the privilege of being able to relax and have a cigarette! :)The ladies working at the Hotel were wonderful...the TV wouldn't power up so I went and fetched "Wanda" who led me back to my room and showed me a "light switch" on the wall in between the beds marked "TV"...boom the TV was on! LOL! :) Wanda was a sweetheart and informed me that they could give me a bucket of ice from the bar if I needed it and wished me a good night...and a good night it truly was! :)I had a restful

I really liked this place. The room I was given was awesome. I slept very well. The staff were super nice. It is a nice little town as well. If I'm ever through again I would definitely stay here!

Chairs in room were filthy, mould in corner of bathtub, rust on shower rod, stain on carpet, one of face cloths were not very white and room could have had a good dusting in places. One star is being generous. My husband has a saying. Been there twice, first and last. Would not recommend to anyone.

Pan fried cod was nice and very reasonably priced. The dining room was pleasant and tastefully decorated. It was quiet and tables were not too close together.

The carpet in our room was so dirty our feet turned black. granted it was a smoking room but the carpet should still be shampooed or something. I dont even think we had clean sheets on the bed as i found a square piece of plastic in the sheets. and the whole building has a terrible smell. the only thing that was good was the ladies at the front desk were nice.

Excellent food and service! The deep fried turkey is amazing! Would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a home cooked meal that tastes great!
