Never had a good experience here. Every time I try this place out its the same experience. No one seems to care or like there job and I find the staff to lack training in the products they are selling. Considering they sell fire arms this was a big turn off for me.Also there prices seem to be a bit out to lunch. The majority of their equipment can be found at Canadian Tire for far less and for firearms I much prefer to go where I know the staff know what they are talking about.

I am surprised some people leaving a negative review about this place. I have been there at least 20 times and always had a great experience. The reason i am writing this review is cause last Sunday when i got there had my best experience. I got a spotting scope for a very decent price. The lady who helped me was very patient and helpful. It was 5:10 pm on Sunday and they close the doors at 5:00pm. She didn't rush me at all and even asked other staff on the floor to assist me as well. Selection is very good and I should say since they opened I don't have to travel all the way to the Cabela's.

Awesome all around outdoor store where you can find all your fishing, hunting, archery, shooting, hiking, camping and cabin needs. Shame if Bass Pro and Cabela's are hurting there business.

Bought my hunting boots from them on recommendation from the sale representative, Gary, based on my criteria. Broke my boots in proper and I am very happy with them. He also help me get a new knife for skinning and gutting. It does the job really well and better than I expected. Gary helped me save 15% on my order by informing me that they were having an one time sale with a valid coupon. Not only that, but he got me the coupons!! Awesome work. He also brought my items to the front counter so I can continue browsing the store for other items.Natalie from the firearms department on the same day helped me out by putting a request in for a shotgun I'm trying to get. She's bringing in two different model for me to see in person and buy one of them on the same day. I am very happy with the service I received from Natalie and Gary.EDIT: I also highly recommend talking to Lynn

I just bought a k31 from them. I was greeted at the door, had no problem getting service at the gun counter and had a helpful sales guy. He was young and really did not know a lot about the k31 which is fine. I worked retail for 20 yrs and certainly did not know everything about everything. No one can. Do your research and know what you want before going to any store. Overall I was impressed by the selection and stock. I also picked up dies for the k31 and my sks. Simple. I will be back.

Very bad service, the cashier was rude and racist. I spoke with clear English no accent, and she kept acting like I didn't understand her.

I have to update my review of the staff who work in the fishing department at Wholesale Sports.I have received very, very, unprofessional assistance from a group of people working there.I went there to buy 2 more fishing reels, and they were currently out of stock, so no problem, I asked them if they could order in those 2 reels, and I would pick them up when they arrived.So, yes, they assured me that they had ordered the reels and they should be there fairly soon. After 3 weeks I called into the store to ask if someone could look and see if the reels had arrived, and they hadn't, so I asked if they could look and verify that paperwork had been filled out for the order of the fishing reels. The guy said he could not do that, and that he would have the manager call me back, which sounded like a good idea. NO phone call back. 3 days later I called again, and asked if someone could look into this issue and see what the status of my order was. Again, I was told someone would look into it, and call me back. No phone call was made to me. After another 3 weeks, I called and talked to the guy who originally told me the reels would arrive fairly soon, and he said he was sorry, the fishing reels would not be stocked by their store anymore. I had already been waiting 6 weeks.I had to change my review from good.... to extremely strange, because the staff there are unconcerned about their poor customer service. I know people make mistakes, but I don't like it when people show no concern for other people. The only reason why I took the time to make this review was because I had originally posted a good review, and I did not want to mislead potential customers.

Managers are too busy to deal with customers because they are trying to impress their Head office staff. The front of store staff could could care less if you had any issues today or any other of the four times I was in. There seems to be a disconnect between every dept.Marc in archery was very helpful and so was Cody.I once again left the store with out being able to make a purchase. How long can this go on. I would be worried if I was the manager.

Good staff,if you need something they have in stock great. Otherwise if you need something firearms related you may as well go somewhere else...it's been over 5 years since i put an order in,and still never received a call for it. Cabelas sent me the magazine clip within a week in the mail.
