Healthpoint Family Medicine and Walk-in

I came here to get my TB skin Test done on Thursday April 13, Dr. Irene Girgis attended me for not more than 2 minutes and I was injected for Skin Test. The receptionist told me to come on Saturday following 48 hrs and told I won’t be charged again and will take 15 minutes only on next visitNow today I’m here and was charged 60$ again. Waiting since 12:15 was told 20-30 minutes max for my appointment and its been an hour and still not sure how long I have to wait.They are just making healthcare worse

Family doctor retired so I had to come in for prescription referral to a new doctor. They wouldn’t refill over the phone or via web call. I had to drive 6 hours to get here. Then had to wait an hour for my appointment. This office needs to stop double booking and get into the 20th Century when it comes to healthcare. I won’t be back.

I had one of the worst experience with this clinic. They let you wait for hours with your appointment but if you are late for 15 minutes they cancel your appointment without even calling. They are expecting you to call if you’re late while their phone lines are always busy for hours. I would not recommend anyone for this clinic. Very poorly managed with unprofessional staffs and doctors.

The Family clinic is a joke. My husband was given wrong medication from the pharmacy, I called to have them send over the correct prescription to pharmacy, I was told he will have to see the physician for that and in order to get that he had to pay a fine .. my husband had missed one appointment more than 6 months back and that is outstanding in his account. It is almost like the GP office is trying to make money in anyway possible. I was told by the CS agent- she is not responsible, she cannot transfer to doctor , the only option is pay the fine and see the doctor..wow..meanwhile my husband is still out of his essential medication..I do not understand why we pay taxes to get this no-service..

If I could give this place a 0 I would. DO NOT GO HERE. You are just wasting your time. I was dealing with Dr. Shahid Chaudhry and he is terrible as well as rude. Has no sense of sympathy or knowledge about anything. He will literally send you away without listening to your issue. I am definitely doing a formal complain against him. This is unprofessional and unethical the way he was speaking to me. You’re a doctor so act like it.DR. CHAUDHRY please go in to a field you are good at.

I was looking for a new family doctor because after 40 years my doctor retired. Went to Healthpoint Family Medicine for a new family doctor. I gave Dr. Chaudhry a list of my prescriptions with one due on Feb. 11th. The appt was Feb 9th. He took it upon himself to decide he didn't want to renew the prescription that i asked for without telling me and as of today i have no pills and he wanted me to wait until Monday to talk to me, while he was in the office today and i have no pills. My original family doctor has prescribed the prescriptions I'm on after years of other options that have been tried and retried that didn't work. While I was at the appt. he had plenty of time to discuss with me any questions he had regarding the prescription. Twice, the pharmacy faxed the request to him, and he ignored it. What kind of doctors are we bringing into the country? I do not recommend this doctor unless maybe you have a cold or something small that he is able to deal with. Unfortunately, if you have an issue that requires more, knowledge, he is unable to deal with it....I would have given him no stars, but one was the least available. Needless to say I will look for a real physician for future visits.

Excellent service and FAST attention. Very happy with our first experience last week. I guess we were there at the perfect time. Dr was nice too. Sorry to all those who have had poor experiences. Ours was the BEST walk-in clinic experience EVER and I have been in Brampton for over 20 years.

Extremely rigid system at Bramalea Health point branch , do not deal with patients like patients but rather deals like a plaintiff in the court session. No empathy, no transparency or understanding. Changed online access system, never notified that your login will not work but expects patience to stay up to speed and book appointments online instead of them having to answer. The person who answer the phone was not speaking clear English, have a CRM system like some contact center where they keep notes of what you discussed over the phone however have no accountability to who left notes before as that person does not work there anymore and would not agree that it could have been a mistake or miscommunication. When I let go and say ok how can we work together and solve from here, does not understand the willingness I am showing but stuck to policy. Does not let you talk to doctor directly, does not have email we can sent to doctor directly. Eventually made and exception to book another appointment but gave really hard time for such small thing when I already mentioned that I was in trouble with some family situation and will make sure going forward will clarify on what is discussed. also have strict policy 2 family members per visit and cannot be on same day.. wait what? yes so if you have more then 1 kid you are screwed, cant go together... have to go separately no matter how your situation is. I want to distinguish here I am also patient at health point at Lion head branch and have visited them pretty much every month since last year, the experience is completely different here. The staff is very understanding, listens, accommodates where possible, communicated clearly and always pleasant. Unbelievable how same company managing clinic at two different location so much difference.
