In March 2022, we signed a contract with Brandon, and provided a sizeable deposit. The work was slated to start in early May 2022 (per the contract). We were pressured by Brandon to rush and give the deposit as he wanted to start the work right away. We rushed, and got all city permits; we were waiting for the work to begin. May 2022, the project was postponed to the Fall 2022. Brandon gives excuses. In the Fall of 2022, the project was postponed to the spring of 2023. Brandon gives excuses. In the spring of 2023…you guessed it: the project was postponed to the Fall of 2023. All we got from Brandon were excuses. Finally, In May 2023, after learning our project was again postponed to the Fall of 2023 (more than 18 months after signing the contract and providing a large deposit) we decided to cancel the contract; Brandon agreed. We just wanted our deposit back, so we can deal with our recent medical situation in peace and move-on to more important projects: our family. Now that it was time to refund the deposit…guess what: Brandon could not. He did not have the money! At first, we were patient and accommodating, but all we got were more excuses from Brandon. We even accepted to be paid back in instalments, but Brandon was never able to meet payment #1. He was never able to commit-to how much would be refunded, and on what date...constant chasing and diversion. Since we met him, Brandon was not able to deliver on one thing he ever told us. We are now 8 weeks after contract cancellation, and we still have not received $1 of our deposit back. We have since begun legal proceedings against this company. Brandon is a dishonest and disorganized man. His word means nothing. He is the type of contractor you hear nightmare stories about on TV. He is the type of person that would let a couple suffer with medical bills, instead of being honest and repaying a deposit. He is the type of person you want to avoid doing business with. Read this and other recent reviews carefully. Hopefully, even one person is saved from making the same mistake we did… **This review will stay up until every dollar of the deposit is refunded. If you are reading this, then even today, the deposit has not been returned in full**

Brandon and his team demonstrated professionalism; efficiency; and were happy to guide me through their process. Thanks again for your seamless work on the loft; it wasn't an easy job, but these guys stepped up!

Has left my property in complete disrepair. Almost 5 months since I signed the contract, gave advances, and he continued to make excuses why he couldn’t finish the work. He made false claims about the materials being ordered months in advance, when I verified with the supplier, they advised that the order was not made on the date he claimed but rather a few hours before I contacted them. He has caused significant damages and negligently left rusty nails and debris putting my 2 young children in danger. I tried uploading pictures but it seems that they need to be approved before being published. If you do decide to sign a contract with him, make sure you have an end date, and you do not advance money until the work is done. If anything needs to be modified, make sure you get it in writing. Also- note the other reviews written, verify if they are real reviews and if they reviewed on other businesses. Protect yourself! Good Luck!

Brandon and his team did a really great professional, top of the line work of restoring the damaged brick wall of my house. I was really impressed with the aesthetic quality, meticulousness, efficiency, and organized approach demonstrated by the team. I would highly recommend K.O. masonry to all serious customers and would give those thumbs up of at least a 5 plus star rating.

I called for an estimate for some repair work on my chimney. Brandon told me he would be here Sunday after lunch. At 3 o’clock I called and he said he’s just finishing lunch and would be over. Again I waited and called yet again. He told me he was having truck trouble. So we set it for the following day from 3 to 5. Waited till we’ll after five and messaged Brandon. He said he’s just finishing up. After waiting I messaged him and he says “ can we make it first thing in the morning?” I never heard from him again. Apparently they don’t need the business and don’t have the common courtesy to call when they are late or not coming at all. If you want service DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
