I reached out to Steve some months after an agonizing crisis. I had been trying to move forward on my own and even though most aspects of my life were steadily improving, the root of the issue continued to hurt - I was stuck. Steve was very kind and understanding, and conversations with him gave me the opportunity to adopt new perspectives and come up with answers to important questions. Now I feel much better equipped to move forward. Steve made a real difference in my life, thank you!

Steve has an uncanny natural ability to connect, listen and understand the nature of your concerns and issues. His compassion and insight makes each and every visit timeless. It is not often you find a counselor that you can immediately connect with but with Steve, that connection was almost instantaneous. His knowledge and expertise in his field are unquestionable as well as valuable that made a significant difference to one's well being. I would definitely recommend Steve to anyone who may require the guidance of a very knowledgeable counselor.

Steve's calm and compassionate nature, his gentle holding of space to allow me to just be & explore, and his real life examples to illustrate a point all helped me look at things with a different perspective and overcome challenges I was struggling with. He helped me hone my communication skills and achieve an outcome I had given up on as being possible. I am so grateful to have found Steve and to have had the experience of counseling with him. I highly recommend Steve and will definitely seek him out again in the future if I need more help.

Steve is an excellent counsellor. I prefer his Emotion-Focused approach to other types of counselling. Steve is patient, reflective and attuned. I appreciated his insights and ability to see a situation from several different perspectives. If you live in Chilliwack and are looking for a counsellor, I highly recommend Steve.

Steve is extremely compassionate, trustworthy, and insightful. He put me at ease during my first session, and I felt confident he’d be able to help me with my struggles. I was correct - his overall strategy and insights were extremely helpful, and I was able to get to a place where I felt grounded and self-assured more quickly than I had anticipated. Although our discussions were emotionally potent at times, I always felt like I could go at my own pace, and never felt rushed. I will definitely give Steve a call if the need arises in the future, and if you’re struggling, I would highly recommend that you reach out to him.

I had some very significant breakthroughs as a direct result from my sessions. Steve was very easy speak with. Very easy to share with....even those uncomfortable of issues. I would recommend him and use him again if I ever felt the need. He showed great knowledge, insight and understanding.
