Canada First Academy for Soccer Excellence

For over two years now my son has been training with Canada First Academy for Soccer Excellence in Toronto. In that time he has become a much more well-rounded child and rep soccer player.Rene Kwol and his entire Soccer Academy coaching staff do an exceptional job at promoting the importance of fitness, unselfish play, ball control and ball movement through positive reinforcement and a great team atmosphere. Teaching my son to play with skill and confidence.I would highly recommend this program to any family looking to surround their children with positive role models, great kids and welcoming parents.

1. My daughter didn't receive the red t-shirt that all the kids have. So in case that something happens people can't identify that she is part of the CFA summer camp.2. At the moment to receive the kids the coaches didn't give clear instructions to us or to the kids. My daughter just went with the others but she didn't receive any charming welcome or even some clear instructions about what the camp will look like.3. I passed by yesterday afternoon around 3 and my daughter was sitting watching the other kids play. I asked her in the afternoon what happened and she said that she was not invited to play.4. My husband went today and he waited around 15 min and nobody was with the kids giving them instructions or anything, the kids were playing in the field and my daughter was alone running around. My husband started to ask questions to the coaches and then they started playing. But my daughter as I said is a beginner in soccer, the other kids were playing and nobody explained to her anything about the game, or how to play therefore the kids were not including her in the game.5. And my biggest concern, as my husband stayed for a bit he saw one kid chasing a bird and almost going down the street and nobody was paying attention.6. When I ask my daughter about her afternoon and what they did she doesn't say much about playing soccer, she talks about the beach and about snack time but she is not learning anything about soccer, that was our main purpose to send her to your academy.

Canada First Academy, the owner (Rene) and their coaches provided a fantastic place for our sons to develop their soccer skills, make new friends and help develop them as good young men. Our sons trained with CFA for a number of years and we always felt the coaches were knowledgeable and caring. Our sons are older now but have stayed friends with many of the people they played with at CFA, and still go back and see the coaches as often as they can. We are grateful for the training, caring coaches and opportunities provided by CFA.

As first time parents to the CFA soccer community, I wanted to say what a great pleasure it has been. We've been coming to the 6 week session and it's been terrific. Our son loves Jamie and all the coaches. The kids and families are all friendly and kind. You create such a positive atmosphere and we're so grateful. We'll be back in summer for camp and fall for more weekly soccer! Thanks CFA friends.

My son has joined CFA for 2 years now. We feel fortunate we've found the club. My son has been enjoying the sport so much more and is enjoying the skill and competitiveness. Practices are fun and great for developing the skills. Games in summer are exciting for both the players and the parents. We are grateful for the training, the thoughtful coaches and opportunities provided by CFA. CFA has been a wonderful experience for my son and myself as a parent.

We've been at CFA for two years now. During this time my son's play has seen amazing development. His juggling , first touch, anticipation have all improved remarkably. This is a great program excellent coaching and a very welcoming community.

RENE and his team are amazing! My son has improved his game dramatically since he joined 4 months ago.They are well organized, friendly and care about my son’s success and progress. I highly recommend CFA to any parent who wants their kid to get a quality soccer education and ongoing development.

CFA has been a wonderful experience for my 8 year old. Coaches do a great job with organizing all the drills and are keen on teaching the kids the fundamentals. Lot of emphasis on passing and becoming a team player.

I paid in full for the 6 weeks program for my son in the 2012 age group. In one of the mini games day the main coach paired him up with younger kids and I asked him why. Not only did he give me a lame answer like “not all about age just let them play” which does matter (younger children lack disipline and organization that doesn’t match the age my son is) but he turned his back on me. I specifically paid to have my son in the same age group as him. I instantly pulled my son out and left the program. They lack respect and proper team to coach children. STAY AWAY

My 7 year old sister recently participated on this summer camp on which her and other kids received little instruction, attention and as a result, she had the worst experience. I don't recommend this soccer summer camp as it's NOT safe for kids.
