Seafood Crate

We ordered for the first time today and I'm happy to say we will be a regular customer from now. The fish we received are of excellent quality and were packed very professionally! Needless to say the price was quite reasonable. We ordered around 16 (200g each) fillet for $80 with a discount (without the discount it would have been $107, which is still reasonable in my opinion)!! Thank you Seafood Crate!

We've been using Seafood crate for awhile. Always fresh and always delivered on time. However my last order was delivered at the end of the day. The ice pack in the box was warm and melted and all the salmon was warm. We had to throw it all in the garbage. Sent Seafood Crate an email and no response.

My mother isn't a big fan of seafood but I am. We got some salmon, halibut, and shrimp and she loved the halibut! My specialty is broiled salmon and it turned out nice, really tender and full of flavour. She made fish and chips with the halibut and it was amazing. Looking forward to trying the pickerel next. I like the idea of buying local so pickerel and rainbow trout are good local fish that are great tasting. I hope I can turn my mom around on these fish because I love them. Seafood Crate should carry more local fish.

I ordered from Seafood Crate on the advice of a friend. I am so glad I did! They have curated boxes to choose from but we opted to create our own which is a great option to make sure you get exactly what you want. There was a ton of selection. Our delivery arrived a head of schedule which was a nice surprise. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. We used the shrimp in a pasta dish, but needed to supplement some store-bought shrimp as we invited company over last minute and needed a few extra. There was a huge difference in the quality: those from Seafood Crate were sweet and tender whereas the grocery store shrimp were tough, watery and somewhat tasteless. The cooked lobster was such a treat as it took all the work out of a lobster dinner. We used the cod to make really nice, fresh fish and chips. The salmon was very tender and delicious. Everything that we received was fresh. Unlike a lot of food delivery services, the packaging was all recyclable and/or reusable making it more sustainable. The seafood was kept nice and cool on delivery, guaranteeing freshness and quality.

Really good seafood, and fresh! I've made lox, sushi, and all sorts of cooked dishes with several of their offerings, although the salmon is definitely my favourite.The delivery packages are well put together - my first delivery in the warm fall was still very cold when I got to it a couple hours later; they seal them in cardboard boxes that are insulated and have a hefty ice pack inside. I'd be more careful in summer weather, but they definitely won't go bad quickly. As an added bonus, they also follow delivery instructions, something even Amazon can't do.Still buying their fish, and it's still great!

Started ordering from here a while ago and have never been disappointed. The fish is always super tasty and clean. Orders arrive on time and well-insulated. The chorizo was nice too! And I've had nothing but good experiences with customer service.

About 2 weeks before my first order of fish through seafood crate I had bought 4 fish fillets from a well know seafood store. After taking the first bite I knew the fish was bad so in the garbage it went. I happened to tell my friend the story and she recommended I try seafood crate. I was skeptical but thought I’d give it a try. Am I ever glad I did. The fish is the freshest I have ever come across, cleaned and portioned to perfection. Seafood crate also ensures that the fish is packaged in such a way to ensure freshness upon delivery. As for the customer service... Amazing

The food is very fresh here. We've gotten food orders from Seafood crate a few times, and each time does not disappoint. A special thanks to Harshal where he was able to help accommodate our special requests to make the entire purchase / pick up that much better. There was a delay with traffic that caused us to get there later than the pick up hours, however Harshal stayed back to ensure he was around to help give us the food we ordered!Great service and really appreciated along with fresh tasting seafood!

We received our first order and were impressed with the freshness of the seafood. It was vacuum packed so was easily stored and kept fresh in the refrigerator until ready for use. We particularly enjoyed some of the cooked options such as the octopus and the lobster, as these are items we would not usually cook at home. The octopus was perfectly tender and was wonderful in a Greek octopus salad. And the lobster was a perfect portion to make fresh lobster rolls without having to crack open multiple lobsters. Will order again

Update year 2022:Year 2019, it was a very pleasant & impress experience for my first order in 2019, I was dealing with Baz, he even delivered my order himself in a short notice, not sure if he's still around. you can actually track the delivery & know exactly when the delivery arrives. Unfortunately, the delivery tracking is not longer available & that was then. Now the delivery only available on Tuesday & Friday.During year 2019, the interaction with the Chat" was very helpful & pleasant.Year 2022
