I have both my kids enrolled at AFMA and as a parent I couldn't be happier for having chosen this school. Sensei Michael and his team are amazing. I can see improvement in my kids' skills and I only wish there were more hours in a day so I could bring them more often. This review is well deserved.

Highly recommended place to learn Karate, kickboxing or more. Family friendly, cosy facility and great staff! Emphasis on getting that focused attention and experience. I bring my family there and they make it so the kids want to go and learn more.

My son, daughter and I were all insterested in martial arts. We found this gem and tried the classes on karate and kickboxing. The place was amazing. Incredible instructors, clean facility and excellent classes. We wouldn't choose anywhere else!

My 7 year old became interested in karate, and I was glad to take her to a free trial class at Aurora Family Martial arts. My daughter loved it, so we signed up. I’ve already seen so much improvement with my daughter. She’s always been so fidgety. She’s now way more attentive and more confident. She loves earning her stripes. As a parent, I love the flexibility in schedule. It works really well for our busy family. We love it so much, I signed up for adult karate classes as well, and it’s going great. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing experience. Not only are the instructors teaching important skills, they are exactly the type of people you would want your kids to be around. Michael is a professional and a gentleman. I'd give this school 6 stars if I could.

The best karate school in York region if not the entire galaxy. Welcoming and inclusive, encouraging and kind while instilling the black belt principals in all students regardless of age or ability. Michael Cameron is an inspiration to his students and genuinely cares about every one of us. I watched my daughter grow to earn her black belt and was so inspired that I've started my own journey. You will not regret bringing your family here, and might even learn something as an adult while you're there. Thank you AFMA for being such an important part of our lives.

My 7 year old daughter joined just under a month ago, and I am very impressed with the program and classes at Aurora Family Martial Arts. There are so many martial arts programs out there, but I am so glad I chose Aurora Family Martial Arts! Michael and the rest of the staff/teachers are amazing! Its a very welcoming and comfortable place and my daughter enjoys going. She has progressed more than I expected and she is really happy there. Would recommend if you're looking for a program, but are unsure where to start!Their adult Kickboxing program is also a great workout if you're looking for something different to try!
