I just phoned in looking for a maximalist running shoe because I have a sore toe and my pediatrist recommended one. I’m not from Winnipeg, so I phoned to store to see if they would have my size.After a 5 minute convoluted conversation with the gal who answered the phone, I still don’t know if they carry maximalist shoes in my size. They do carry adrenaline in my size, which means nothing to me, . I asked multiple times if that shoe would solve the problem of overextending my big toe and she would answer with: “I dunno, you could try.”Frustrated, I cursed and hung up. I was a paying client with money to spend, and she had no interest in selling me anything.

You seriously can't ask for a better store for shoes. They know there stuff. Sport chek grabs you the pair you want and ask if they fit. Running Room assesses your feet and suggests the right shoe for you based on your foot type, running style etc. Excellent store, I have gotten all my running shoes from here.

I was always under the impression that Running Room was the place to go" for really knowledgeable staff that could help you choose which shoes will work for you. I had actually never been before as I'm not that much of a serious runner. I visited the Pembina location in May as they carried a brand of shoe I wanted to try on in person. I was very surprised by the service. The staff seemed irritable like they couldn't get me out of there fast enough. I asked exactly two questions about the shoes and the fit

I've been having problems with my feet and ankles for over a year! Who knew? Not the store I bought my running shoes from in Ontario, not my physiotherapist in Ontario....but the excellent staff at The Running Room on Pembina in Winnipeg! I had been wearing shoes that were 1 size too small for me! DANA (great name lol) helped me and she guided me and helped me make a great purchase. My feet and and ankles thank you!

This is the place to come for high quality and the proper shoe for your gait. I have purchased my shoes there for years. When I unexpectedly ended up in the hospital, this past week and desperately looking for my shoe, Running Room staff came to my rescue. I was unable to purchase in store, and she used my file to find my shoes and helped me to order them for myself online. Now that is service!! Highly recommend

The staff is friendly and helpful. The staff checks your gait to recommend you which type of shoes is suitable for your activity, especially for running. I received a free back as well since my purchase was above 150 dollars.

I ended trying on a ton of shoes and it turns out I was wearing the wrong size and style! Linda was absolutely amazing and so patient. Cannot say enough good things about her service ☺️

We shop at this store regularly and appreciate the staff and their expertise. They try to find the best product for the customer. (not just to sell the highest priced item.) It is fun to see the Running room staff at the different races around Winnipeg!

The lady that was there tonight was very offputting... wasnt sure if its just how she was but she seemed really judgemental and stuck up. It made me not want to buy anything there so I left. So not what I was expecting from that visit and now im put off from going to any other store in Winnipeg.
