The Sugar Garden

Agreed to be our cake vendor, went on vacation, and never heard back again! We were left in the lurch for our wedding with NO communication from her! Very disappointed

I order cakes all the time,,,and I am flabbergasted at not only how great they taste,,, but how beautiful they are and soooo totally artistic,,,already order wedding cake again for September,,,I know she will not disappoint,,,

I seen many of her cakes and they are so beautiful and carefully designed with amazing detail!! My personal favourite is her birch cake. It looks very realistic. Definitely would recommend her. Plus, everything tastes AMAZING.

Cake tasted goodHard person to get a hold of when you want to communicate with her

I ordered my wedding cake from Deena at The Sugar Garden for my May 27, 2017 wedding. Overall, the cake tasted delicious. But that's where my good experience with The Sugar Garden ends.Throughout the planning phase, my mom, who purchased the cake for me, and I had a hard time with communication. We would not get replies back from our e-mails before the wedding in a timely manner. We wouldn't hear back for 2 weeks at times, and only after we resent the e-mail.I was also disappointed in the final cake design. It was not what I asked for. I sent Deena 2 photos of what I wanted my cake to look like, and she ensured me it will be done. I wanted a 3 tiered cake, plum ribbon with pearl strands wrapped around the base of each cake. Lace detailing, looking like the side of a table. Yellow roses and cream gerber daisies.This was not done. What I received was a very plane white 3-tiered cake with plum ribbon on the base of the layers. Yellow roses, and large fake white daisies". Where were the pearls? Where was the lace I asked for? The daisies were also not what I expected.My mom e-mailed and called Deena after the wedding many times
