St. James Volkswagen

Originally gave a 5-star review as this was part of my deal. Now that I have the car, I need to update based on my experience. Purchased a vehicle from salesman Matt. Initially the sale went well overall and Matt was extremely responsive (as he was wanting to get our sale). Matt indicated that the price of the car was a good deal as we were getting $800 winter tires. Sounds like a good deal to me!When we went to pick up the car, the winter tires we got in the sale were not ready for pick up and in storage. How can they be in storage when they knew days ahead that we were picking up the car on a certain date?So upon another trip back to the dealership a week later, the winter tires that were part of the sale are not even usable. This is complete false advertising. They are down to the wear strip. When I called to question Matt about this, he said that the winter tires were a bonus but he was going to look into what he could do and get back to me. Now he isn’t responding to my calls and texts. Great customer service Matt! I guess my future business isn’t valued.

We came in looking for a used vehicle and Noah W. helped us out with all our questions and concerns. He was very knowledgeable and made the process very quick and easy. My only issue was getting a wire transfer with our bank, I wish they accepted bank drafts like all other dealerships, it would’ve made my experience much easier. But Noah made sure our vehicle was nicely detailed and ready to go for us. We’ve had no issues with the vehicle so far and are very happy with our purchase.

Taylor was absolutely great to deal with. Called her on a Friday to buy a car and and she was very quick and responsive to any questions I had. By the following Monday I was in the car after a quick test drive and signing some papers. 100 percent would recommend her and St James VW to anyone looking at buying a new or used car. Great person to deal with and very down to earth. Looking forward to future inquiries with her and the dealership.

I saw the car online, went in on a Saturday to look at it and met Matt, was able to take it for a drive. He answered all my questions about the car. I wanted to come back and take a second look with a friend the next day, but Matt was off. He came in to go over the car with me again on his day off. The entire experience was great. My mother purchased her car here also. We would 100% recommend the sales team, as well as the service team. St.James VW is a great place to deal with.

James was great to deal with in sales! He listened to what I was looking for and had good suggestions. Showed me a couple and we test drove one I loved and we bought it the next day. It was pre-owned and James had the couple paint chips touched up and will be getting my driver seat fixed from a cigarette burn it looks like. He is very attentive and listens to what his customers want vs need and has great suggestions while staying within the price range I gave him. Wasn’t pushy on features of add ons that I said I didn’t want. The finance person is a different story and was pretty aggressive on upselling things like insurance and didn’t ask what type of warranty we wanted just charged us the most expensive one. I take some of the blame for that though for not standing our ground but we were car shopping a long time and had some bad experiences that week so just wanted it to be done. Moral of the story, James is amazing, get finance to explain everything and not pressure you into stuff you don’t want.

Harpreet Saini was a great salesman. When I mentioned any concerns, he was quick to address them with no hesitation. Very straightforward and didn’t try to hide anything during the entire purchasing process, unlike most dealerships. Worked with me when the price was a little out of my budget and overall a great guy. Definitely coming back here again. I'm very disappointed with them. Brought my vehicle in for a recall part, and tgey had to order in another item. Had them put it on the scanner as it had a check engine misfire code. Said they couldn't get the scanner to read as the wires had rust on them?. Really?. So got a deck truck to bring it home. . They left everything undone under the hood also. So, I ordered up a set of plugs and a pcv valve and hooked up all the wires from the relay box. Car fired right up, runs great. Where did they find those techs?.

Really quality service. We bought a used car, KIA Sorento. While the car was at the service, we were offered with a replacement car - the new Volkswagen Atlas. Especially a lot of thanks for assistance to Alexander. Ihighly recommend this dealership to everyone and especially to newcomers from Ukraine.
