The Pub On King
The service and food was great and everything in reasonably priced. The Turkey Club was incredible, the vegetables were fresh, and the turkey was a nice thickness and good quality. The fish was lightly breaded and a great size fillet. The tartar sauce that the fish & chips came with was delicious. The wings were great and they smelt amazing.

Honestly I had a very bad experience at this location, I got served by this blonde girl in her 20s, I ordered a pine of beer and as soon as she saw me finish the beer she brought me the debit machine to pay, I did not leave a tip because I wasn’t planning to leave yet. 20 minutes later I felt like ordering another pine of beer and she straight up told me she won’t serve me because I did not tip her the first time. I felt very offended honestly and never coming back to this place again, and I do not recommend anybody going to this place because the service was horrible!!!

Hadn't been here is so long. I went solo.I had the Pub Burger and Aantojitos both were delicious warm and came out fast.I even tried the hottest" hot sause in town! It was full of flavour and heat go try for yourself.Thanks for a good solo night out ... will be back for sure!"

We went on a Wednesday night so it's safe to say that it wasn't busy at all. In this review I'll be talking about the service and food below.Food: we ordered Cajun wings and Antojitos for starters which honestly the only good about that night. Have no complaints for the beer as well. But the burgers were down right inedible. I ordered the classic hamburger with fries and the patty was dry like paper not to mention no sauce in it not even the good ol' mayo.Service: I don't even know where to start with on the service we received. When we entered and got ourselves seats,for the first 15-20 mins no one came. Servers were walking by us and still not bothering to even give is the menu there wasn't even a QR code in that seat. We had to literally call out a server to get us menus and then through out the night, we had to keep looking for the server and keep calm her for even asking for water, they didn't even check up on us. All the servers were just going behind the bar and chatting to them selves. And also the restaurant closed at 1am but they made us pay the bills before 11pm which was weird. Felt very unwelcomed and unhappy. Will probably avoid going there.

I go here quite often. I like the vibes and the food was good. However, I went there one night and accidentally tipped 5% when meaning to do 15%. I did not realize this until the waitress yelled at me about it. It was so embarrassing and rude. I will never go back.

The Pub On King
We were on a limited time as we were on a bus trip. There was 20 of us. There was a glitch with the staff scheduling, but our server was excellent. He took our orders, made our drinks, and served the prepared meal. The food was excellent and the prices were great. If I'm ever back in Waterloo I'll definitely be going back.

A night that started off okay but turned for the worst. Thankfully the manager arrived and cooler heads prevailed. It started with simple double charge which my friend bailed out the server by just graciously accepting to just get a second round of food since the first was quite tasty and came out quickly. Unfortunately, the second round took quite a bit longer, which prompted us to sit at our booth waiting as all our friends were out dancing and enjoying the night. We asked our server for an ETA or if there was any other way to just get something else that could be made quicker, to which he rudely said, no you said you wanted food and it will be ready in 60 seconds". 5 minutes later he brings out the food

The food and drinks were good here.Really enjoyed the nachos and Poutine that I had.Prices were pretty decent and they had some good daily specials for drinks and such.The washrooms were nice and clean which some other pubs neglect.
