Recently changed to SMOKT and still 5 stars!Really enjoyed the burgers and birria tacos before, and now tried their Tex-Mex BBQ Platter!The Ribs and Pulled Brisket were our favorites. They were tender and had a lot of flavour. The Chicken and Pulled Pork were also excellent and went really with the flour tortillas and Street Corn or Slaw.Came with lots of potatoes and rice and both BBQ sauces were excellent.The 2 to 4 person platter easily feeds 4!

Got take out for dinner! Never been before! Great proportions! Love the thin fries! My boyfriend got the brisket burger and I got the brisket poutine!!! SUCH a good burger and the brisket is really tasty! The gravy on the poutine was really good too! Good portion sizes! Really quick service!

I would highly recommend their Platters here. The beef brisket was by far the best I've ever had. It was juicy, thick-cut, and smoked to perfection. The ribs were amazing as well. They let the meat flavor stand out, and don't rely on sauces or rubs. The sides were awesome too and the owner gave us all off them to try. They only have take-out, but you can sit at near-by park benches to still dine-in" (which turned out fun for the family)."

Just came in today for the first time since the owner changed the menu. He’s always so welcoming and warm. We ordered the cowboy platter for two and it was sooooo good! Tasty meat and sauces. The rice and corn are fantastic too!

You cannot go wrong with smoked meat. The brisket is slow smoked for 14 hours and very nice. The pulled pork and ribs are also tasty and all the meat is finished with a BBQ sauce that compliments the flavors and isn't overpowering.Kids menu items and sides are generous with serving amounts and reasonably priced. We recommend the Mac and cheese, as the whole family devoured it. The corn and tater tots also went quickly.The owner took the time to give us his recommendations on menu selection that fit our family perfectly. He had a great interaction with a regular that was a pleasure to witness, and makes me wish I lived in the area.Highly recommend.

Great experience with this place. Owner was awesome, and the menu obviously was written by someone with extensive knowledge of food. I was raised in southern Texas and we got the platter to try it all out and everything was VERY good, especially the brisket and macaroni and cheese and dirty rice and potatoes. Lovely all around and will absolutely be back.

I highly recommend this restaurant for their incredible mac and cheese. The dish is a perfect blend of creamy and delectable, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Unfortunately, there was a fake negative review claiming bad service, which is completely untrue based on my experience. The owner was attentive and friendly throughout my visit, and you can tell they are very passionate about the ingredients that go into the food. Don't let fake reviews discourage you from trying the best mac and cheese!

Checked out SMOKT for a quick lunch. The meat sides of chroizo and brisket were flavorful. The Mac and cheese needed a bit more spices, the potatoes were pretty good. Would return to try more dishes.

I've been by three times since they opened and I actually get cravings for their food.One time the debit machine was down and the owner asked me to e-transfer him once I got home, just showed that he trusts his customers and actually cares.So proud to have this place in Bowness.Delicious food, great prices, stand up dude for an owner!

I stopped in and tried the brisket on a bun, and it was incredible. The coleslaw isn't too creamy, and the brisket itself is tender and packed with flavour. I'll definitely be back for more.
