Wanted to try out their breakfast after the management changeover , and I was very happy. The prices were much better than before and the portions are huge , no way I could have finished it . My toddler loves the food as well and he’s picky , staff and their service was very friendly and they didn’t bug you as much as other restaurants do while you’re eating which was a nice change. They even had a discount wheel you could spin (which I’m sure is temporary) but it was nice to have our meals even more affordable. Will certainly be back and recommend to others

Was a very middle of the road experience. We had the monte cristo and the omelette. Just ok food and took a long time to come out. The place didn’t seem very busy for how long it took. The menu had a good selection that this town needs. Server was very polite.

Bad service, lack of options, server forgot one person's entire order of food and individual items for the rest. No top ups on water or coffee, no cutlery, food was sub par. Restaurant was almost empty - Iunderstand being slammed/under staffed. This was not the case at all. Complained to the new owner but was still charged in full for 5 meals when only 4 arrived, and items were missing.Used to come here during previous ownership and had a great experience. Has gone completely down hill - would not recommend at all. Go literally anywhere else.

Great place to relax while enjoying your food while getting the feeling of the mountains views with the train passing by. Something new to try everytime and really enjoyable with family.

This place used to be my go to place for breakfast. After being shut down for quite some time and now under new owners, I decided to try it. Had the same thing I always had in the past.(bacon and eggs, toast and hashbrowns.) I ordered my eggs over medium, and when they came to the table, they were as hard as a rock like the potatoes that weren’t cooked. On the upside, the bacon is good and you get lots of it. Lol got a cup of coffee when we sat down at the table was never asked again if I needed a refill or anything. Was hoping it was the same food and atmosphere as before…… but it’s not :(

Our family always had weekend breakfasts here. When it closed our youngest wasn't old enough to remember. Now we get the chance to carry on the tradition. The food is great and really big portions. The atmospheres the same, like a big community gathering. Once they get fully staffed it'll be booming.

Went there for breakfast.I will say that it is under new ownership and I think they are still trying to work out the kinks, however waiting for a coffee for 30 minutes is really not acceptable.We ordered food but after 30 more minutes of waiting(never showed) we payed for our coffee and left.I will offer a little bit of advice.....get experienced cooks and wait staff, it appeared to be busy but a lot of people left in frustration after their meals didn't show up or they were wrong.I will return here in a couple weeks and give them the benefit of the doubt.To the owners.....now is the time to get your place in order before it becomes to late....I wish you luck and success.

I can only leave a medium review as they are quite new and there are still a few issues for them to figure out. My partner and I came in for a quick brunch. Sorry to say it wasn’t as “quick” as expected. We waited nearly 20 minutes to be served after being told to grab a seat. And even after having our orders taken, it was another 40 for the food to arrive. However the menu has options that aren’t found in other restaurants nearby. All-in-all, it’s too early to judge harshly. Best of luck.

Restaurant kept the same interior with the new owners, just fixed the seats so the atmosphere is great.Servers are new and it shows, but they are learning and trying hard.Party of 3, Fish and chips / Club sandwhich / Chicken Sandwich. None of our party could finish their food due to the sheer volume of grease that was not properly drained after being cooked.Concierge was courteous, took note, and hopefully relayed messages to cooks.Still a lot to be ironed out by the new owners, but maybe in a few months they will get It figured out.

Really disappointed with the visit here. The manager tried helping with the vegetarians option but in the end they served 2 breads with just cheese between them for $15.The staff was good but the place was dismal. Won't recommend.
