Saw the pretzel on their menu and headed over... Excellent service and food! Everything we ordered was super delicious. The hazelnut cake reminds me of a German friend's baking (he's a baking master). The waiter was super friendly and even recommended the sunshine music festival for the night. Would definitely come back when visiting the area next time!

Great variety of quality dishes. Rotating menu keeps it fresh and the craft beer selection is the best in town. It’s my #1 restaurant when I go to Powell River.

Honestly, the menu composition was nice but the food was a bit bland. Nothing really to write home about except for the scenery. Service was okay.

Food, location and service were all awesome. The staff were accommodating with sitting us somewhere we could see our bikes and were quick to help us out with drinks when we arrived. Kye was our server and he was a gentleman, very friendly and helpful (sorry for calling you Kyle)! Would highly recommend the Tuna Stack and will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area.

Here’s a great place to dine in PR.Located at the end of the road Powell River this lovely feel good room with views of the water serves up a plentiful menu. Mussels and Ling cod. Try the rigatoni with local mushrooms. For those foodies this restaurant will impress.I was especially impressed with our server and wait staff as we had quite a large party with some nuances and they were able to accommodate .

The food was fantastic, the service was superb, and The view was lovely. Not much else you can say other than they provided us with the perfect dining experience. Thank you so much. Will be back again one day. I had the pretzel and chicken and waffle sandwich, was to die for.

Our experience with this business was at a wedding reception. The whole event was handled with total consideration to a special dietary menu. The dishes that selected were tasty and had great presentation. Several special dishes were made to consider allergies etc. One guest was feeling left out and it was noticed soon after the meal was being served. The young girl was asked what she liked and a special meal was prepared off site and delivered quickly. We thank and appreciate the special attention. Very impressed! We will make sure we dine in if we are ever back in Powell River.

I'm very disappointed .. we made a reservation for 6:30 and received a verification by email. When we arrived, they had no reservation for us. She took our phone number and said she would call us when they had an opening. We went for a walk, and they called us about 45 minutes later. It sure spoiled the mood.Update: The Coastal Cookery contacted us to find out what happened to our reservation and definitely came through with the customer service. Thank you again, Sarah ... we look forward to our next visit.
