Probably worst hair experience I’ve had. Stylist caused banding and it costed me 600$ to get fixed. Please if you’re blonde be careful.

My daughter and I both went to this salon. My daughter's hair stylist (Alana) was kind, professional and gave my daughter a WOW! colour that really suits her skin colour. My haircut (from the very talented Robb) is without a question, the BEST cut I have ever had. I had brought 2 photos of styles I thought might be suitable, and asked my stylist's opinion. He politely suggested another kind of cut; one that gave some much-needed body to my very long, fine hair. I am SO appreciative for his intervention. The cut he gave me is so easy to manage and perfectly complements my face shape. These folks really know what they're doing. We will be back.

Had a great experience at Thumpers! It was my first time. Vanessa is so talented. I had balayage done at a different salon 6 months ago but needed to add more highlights and also a hair cut. I didn’t know how to describe what I wanted done, I just showed Vanessa a couple of pictures of balayage style I liked and she quickly analyzed what I wanted done and she did a great job! I love my hair, it looks so natural and I know I will be going back to see Vanessa again!

Amazing salon. I paid the same amount of $$ elsewhere for a fraction of the care, attention, and skill I received at Thumpers. I felt like Nathan truly cared about my hair and wanted to ensure I had the right colour and cut and that I knew how to properly care for my hair after. Definitely get what you pay for, best Salon in HRM!

Vanessa has been my hairstylist for a number of years now. She always does an amazing job! I trust her opinion when I need a formal style for special occasions, and when I need my color and cut done. She has a great eye for knowing what is going to look good on me! I always get amazing compliments from friends, family and coworkers after Vanessa has gotten her hands on my hair! I love going into Thumpers to see her, everyone is so nice and welcoming. I love how bright the salon is, I find it very uplifting! I highly recommend this salon, and the stylists!

A wild color correction journey that came out in a happy ending with the assistance of Nathan and Kate. Very appreciative of their hard work to help fix me up after running out of time with the original stylist i was working with for the initial appointment. And very thankful to the owner for getting everything worked out in the end. Everyone has been incredibly kind through the whole journey

My boyfriend called and asked for a fade. They charged him 58$ for Master stylist prices and this was his fade. Botchy and looks like a kid shaved it.When we called back, they said the same stylist who doesn’t know how to do a fade could redo it or get a 13$ refund. Super unhappy and I would be embarrassed to charge 60$ for that.
