Brechin Dry Dock Marine

Worst marina ever. Been waiting a month now for my boat which started as a starter..than is a stator..now they say it has an idle problem. Boat ran fine the day the starter went on it. Last long weekend of the summer is tomorrow and no boat. If you want some one throwing darts at a dart board to figure out a problem with your boat take it here. They are in the wrong business.

Love this place, Great people, Great atmosphere, unique setting. I had the best Eggs Benni at the Marina restaurant called The Lilly Pad. Thanks to everyone who works so hard to make this a great place for all to enjoy!

Not impressed by the fact the launch ramp was closed leaving boaters unable to tow their boats out of the lake. There were two men inside the store and they refused to open the ramp up. Customer service at it's lowest. Wow!

Brought our boat to Lagoon City for a weekend trip but the one and ONLY launch has terrible hours. The gate is locked so after hours you're unable to launch or pick up your boat. Why not just leave it open for people to use if you dont feel like working.... Feels like the town isn't very tourist friendly. I feel bad for the businesses trying to make a go of it but would be loosing quite a bit of business due to lack of boater options in the town. Would have had to go to Orillia to launch our boat. The Marina looks run down as well.

It was a pleasure to have met Connie and Ted. Great customer service. Very clean marina. Thankful to be part of this marina. Excited for the season.

Love this Marina and the people in it. Great location on lake Simcoe with easy access to Barrie, Orillia and many anchoring sites. Ted and Connie have been fantastic to us! So glad we moved to Lagoon City aka Brechin Dry Dock Marine.

I work and live here so my review may be a little biased,, honestly , it's an old but beautiful marina , well managed by friendly down to earth people. The staff are pleasant and do all they can to meet the boating needs of all of Lagoon City and the surrounding area.It's definitely worth a trip to Lagoon City if you have never been here. Come see Canada's little Venice on Lake Simcoe

Purchased my boat here, was clean and ready on time, very friendly and helpful.

This is an excellent marina with outstanding management. One evening this fall, while transiting the Trent/Severn Waterway, i damaged my propeller on a rock. Brechin's marina service department was closing for the day and was very busy but the owner told me to come down, spend the night on my boat, and he'd have a look first thing in the morning if he had to do it himself. (as all his mechanics were committed to other work). The damage was limited to the propeller and so he had my propeller off and a new one installed and I was on my way within about an hour of his Marina opening. He provided lots of good advice and insight into propeller design. Very friendly and helpful. Really went out of his way for someone who was just passing through. I felt his price was very fair and can't say enough positive things about my experience.
