Years ago I when I was a kid I went in to get my watch repaired and I didn’t know how much it would be. The man here told me it would be a very cheap fix around $20.00 he said . When I came in a week later to pick it up he than charged me $78.00 for it and said he wouldn’t give me the watch until I paid. At the age of 15 I believe that was a lot of money and i have never felt so ripped off in my entire life. To make things worst it literally fell apart 2 days after. I am glad looking at these other reviews it reflects how poorly this business is run. Don’t ever go here!

This is the best place for watch repair. Always on time, watch looks like new any time I take it in. Very reasonable price. The people with poor reviews must be taking stuff to another place ... never had a problem here.

I took my watch in to have a link removed but when I came to pick it up found that the worker had mistakenly opened the watch to replace the battery. In doing so the charging mechanism was damaged and now the watch does not charge any more. The owner flatly refused to accept responsibility and wanted me to pay for a new battery. His rudeness and aggressiveness was shocking and I highly advise no one to go there.

Don't take your watch here! I needed one little piece for my band - should have been a 2 minute job. Was asked to leave the watch with him and he would call me. That was the end of August and it is now the end of October. I have called several times with no response. The watch is likely lost. Horrible customer service.

Trying to support local merchant.Result of cleaning an battery replacement normally 80 to 100 dollars was 263 dollars. Watch ran for one day 2 weeks later to get it back.Feel totally ripped off .

My watch seems to have been properly repaired but the service was terrible. When I dropped off the watch, I was told I would get a call later that day with a quote. I ended up calling them every day for the next three days to get a response. I finally got it fixed but it was $40 for a minor cosmetic repair which seemed very over-priced. If it wasn't for the fact that I needed it back quickly, I would have taken it elsewhere at that point.I can't recommend this business.

Brought my watch in to repair broken crown. It took nearly 2 months and when I finally came to pick it up the repair job looked terrible. The crown didn’t fit properly and it was sticking out too far - on top of that Jay charged me $450. He told me getting an authentic crown from the manufacturer would have cost $1000. A few weeks later his terrible repair job broke again so I took it to a shop in Langley “it’s about time” and they repaired it with the manufacturer crown for $150. GOT RIPPED OFF BY JAY AVOID AT ALL COST.

Had to give it a one star as no stars was not an option. Over the period of a year I had taken my grandfather clock for repair four times and it was never completed correctly!! At no point over the four visits was the mechanism fixed. Over $800 later, his response was that I ruined it. Sad business practice. Take your items elsewhere.

Only reason I rated Jay’s a 1 is there wasn’t a zero. I took a very cheap but serviceable Timex in for a new battery. Upon pick up was told that the battery was ‘very expensive’. 5 minute repair was $25. My bad for not doing some research ahead of time. The batteries are actually super cheap less than $5 a piece! Total rip off. Don’t be fooled by the free coffee offer either!!
