I have trusted them with all brands and styles and have always been more than satisfied with the repair. He can re-sole your shoes while you wait in the time it takes to have a coffee. I’ve seen him do some amazing purse repair to straps and zippers also.

I have been going to this gentleman to have my high heels re-heeled for over 7 years now ... he always polishes the shoes when he's done, and he does most of these services quickly, while you wait. He is very polite and I've always appreciated his quick work, quick customer service, and very reasonable pricing. One of the last few old style shoe repair places left - and he has great hours too!

He resoled my boots, and the soles are still going strong after 3 years he re-soled it (I wear the boots almost daily). I love the fact that he uses Vibram soles!! He even polished my shoes after resole. The owner is super nice, he remembers his customers. I would definitely trust him with expansive shoes and leather products.

This place is the greatest! They have fixed so many pairs of shoes for me and the service and quality is outstanding. They have saved more pairs of Poppy Barley shoes than I can count and I can't recommend them enough. If you need your shoes resoled, restitched or just properly cleaned this is the place!

After reading the Google and Yelp reviews, when I needed a pair of shoes stretched, I felt pretty safe heading to Downtown Shoe Repair. I have to tell you, it was a very good experience! The person working the store was friendly and helpful, when I dropped my shoes off I was in and out in a couple of minutes, and he had them ready ahead of the time he quoted. The results were good, and the price was very reasonable, only $21. Be aware, you won't be given a claim ticket or anything, service is very informal, but good work and quick, pleasant service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have their shoes repaired!

Got red vibram installed on two pairs of my Christian Louboutins today and he finished within 45 minutes like he promised. He did them seamlessly with a lot of attention and care. It’s perfect and I am really happy about the finished product! The price was certainly reasonable. He is incredibly cheerful and happy.. pleasant to deal with. The shop has a wide selection of shoe care as well. He was very knowledgeable and advised the best care for my other shoes when I asked him for his opinion. You could really appreciate someone who takes pride in their work and products. I highly recommend coming here and will be bringing all my shoes here moving forward.

I have never had anything repaired at this place, so I probably can't review it properly. But nevertheless, I did buy a belt. Good price and so far so good as far as quality goes. I suppose I'll have to see how long it lasts and then I'll have proper review. Otherwise the place wasn't busy and that's something I appreciate because I don't like standing and waiting. So have a great day eh. One more review under my belt. Pardon the pun.

Don is awesome! Great customer service, and really good price. I paid way more at a different store and the work that was done to my heels are not even half as good as Don's. He fixed my heels in 15 min while I wait and watch. He polish and clean them up after he fixed them. My shoes looks so much better now and I will definitely go back!

This was the best place I've been. The owner has been there for 29 years. It's $14/pair of shoes to be resoled or $16 if you get a cleaning as well. They only take debit of visa no MasterCard.

I went to see Don today because I read the reviews online. He was wonderful! He is highly knowledgeable about shoe care and repair and he fixed my boots within minutes. The cost SHOCKED me: under $20 for him to fix the heels and soles of my favourite Guess boots. He even polished them for me so they look new. I will definitely be going back to Don and will be sending my family and friends to him too!
