Got my welding leads stolen last night so I stopped by Josef gas to replace it and the gentleman and lady behind the desk(should of got their names) were really awesome to deal with and knowledgeable in their work.They threw in cable connectors, stinger to get me going again. I Will be coming back

I'm new to the welding trade, so figured I should go in to the store to talk to a face. Wow, huge store with major inventory - anything I asked to see they had. Hats off to the folks behind the desk, they were extremely helpful.

Visited Josef gas this morning in dire need of a propane refill after looking other stores, I found this. Friendly customer service within 5 minutes I got my propane tank filled in just $20

I went here recently to buy some 4043 aluminum arc welding rods. I wanted to shop local instead of buying them online. they were about $30, After I got my bill and I've paid I noticed that there was a $7.32 compliance charge on my bill. I asked the salesperson what was this? they said they charge it to everybody. Not happy about that at all so my bill was around $43 for these rods including this compliance charge. On line Amazon, I would have just paid $30 only no shipping. Also these rods did not have a spec sheet in them to give you amperage range of usability they were 3/32 in diameter they should have at least supplied this kind of information with welding rods that they have their own brand name on. I would think twice before I come back here and buy anything that's for sure.
