This place was on my list for a while and finally I checked it today. I liked my orders, a butter croissant and avocado toast. I also liked the coffee they have, I ordered decaf Cappuccino and it was very nice!

Enjoyed the meal. Arrived at around noon. Had about 4 patrons ahead which was about 20min wait2 groups inside at a time, you order and then head to the patio to enjoy, no indoor dining spaceRoast beef sandwich was huge. Our group liked the halloumi and eggplant toast. Olive cake was fluffy and tasty.Service could be better, had to ask for water, napkins and cutlery. Sandwiches can also take a whileDidn't get to try the hyped croissants, but probably wouldn't wait in line for them if we were to go again

My top pick for bread in the city. High hydration sourdough. Great flavour and gluten development. Their sesame loaf is the entire reason for any of my visits. Though loaves aren’t cheap, they are very large. Also notable are their newer potato buns. While you’re there, their shakshuka egg brioche is tasty, as are their other baked goods. Canneles are very respectable. Side patio available for sit down. Steps at door.

I was treated to a Emmer’s pistachio croissant before and so enjoyed it. It was such a different experience over some of the other croissant varieties I’ve tasted. So this morning I decided to do a taste test for myself with all 3 types of croissants- pistachio, almond and plain buttered(only way to truly taste a croissant). We tried all 3 at once, wow what a way to go!The pistachio paste and almond paste meld perfectly with each croissant topped off by their nut toppings - what a perfect combination. Beautiful texture, sweet level and crunch. Heaven! The butter croissant had the right flakyness and layers - but I did not get enough of the buttery taste for my palate. Also I noticed that I was short one pistachio croissant, hastily I called Emmer and explained what happened. Beth quickly offered me a replacement or refund when I went next to Emmer. Now that was a pleasant client interaction.I will need to try more of their menu in order to rate Emmer as a whole but so far so so good!!!

I was so hyped about this place and wanted to try it for so long. But the food was not at all as expected! We got beef roast sandwich (upside was it was big) and the OG sandwich! Honestly, both were bland to taste and was not worth $45. The iced latte was not good (maybe should have gotten water) Maybe their croissants are better not sure.

the almond and pistachio croissants are delicious and perfectly flaky. however, i wish they’d reconsider their line-up policy and bake more croissants so each individual gets a fair chance at purchasing them. it’s unfair that people should wait so long in the cold or rain just to end up with no croissants.

Came to try their pistachio croissants and all I can say is please save yourself the 1hr line … Absolutely not worth the hype nor the $10 price point. I almost cried taking a bite into that greasy croissant. I ordered both a semi sweet chocolate croissant and a pistachio and I found both to be super oily and greasy; the pistachio filling was more of a watery jello than a creamy velvety texture which added more to the grease feeling, I don’t know if they use oil instead of butter in their croissants but there was something way too off with them, and I’m not even a pastry chef. It could also be the hot weather affecting the dough but that’s on them because that’s poor quality assurance. There are way better bakeries in the city, please don’t fall for the hype.

Tried Emmer for the first today as I heard about this place a lot. After waiting in line for 20+ mins I was able to get in and ordered a butter croissant, rum caramel croissant and an olive oil pistachio cake, plus an Americano. ~$40!!Croissant were delicious but buttery, actually very buttery and Small!Olive cake was just okay and the coffee drink didn’t worth a buck. And the staff and the owner were super entitled, rude and not friendly-unfortunately!I’m not sure if I’m giving it another try as you can find better croissant & coffee with reasonable prices. Not recommended.

Waited for 20 mins in line to order. Only 2 customers were allowed inside. Had 2 pistachio croissants and cappuccino. The croissant was good, less cream on the inside and more nuts on the outside, very flaky and crunchy. Definitely on the more expensive side. Customer service was okay. You order in the front and you go to the patio. Food was given in take out containers, I guess because we ordered only bakery items not lunch menu. They apparently make approx only 6-7 dozens of pistachio croissants in a day, so if you want to try that definitely go earlier, as we were the last orders.

Went for the pistachio croissant, worth the hype, sooo buttery and the crust is so good! I think the best croissant I've had ever. Surprisingly good was the breakfast sausage sandwich with freshly baked English muffin and the sausage also tasted very special and artisanal.
