Churrasco of St.Clair

I have been here many times. And I highly recommend it. Great food and prices.I highly recommend the charcoal chicken. Delicious.The portions are very generous.I’m Portuguese and give this place 2 thumbs up.

Highly recommend when you want some good portugese chicken and potatos this is now one of my staples. You need to get more of that hot sauce cause its outstanding and packs a punch.

I genuinely like this restaurant so much. The owner and his staff is so amazing. They all are so friendly and welcoming. Since I have always loved their food; be it the rotisserie (BBQ), grilled chicken or even their famous rice and Peruvian potatoes, I have never been disappointed with the quality of their food.Highly recommend to those who want to experience the No. 1 Portuguese restaurant in town.

Okay, I for one did not see this one coming. On my weekly hunt to discover a new neighbourhood in Toronto, I decided to go up to St Clair West. Got on the subway from Union Station and went all the way up to St Clair West Station and took the 512 Streetcar West, heading towards Stockyards. I quickly decided to exit the Streetcar at Bathurst and began exploring the neighbourhood. Around Christie, this little place caught my eye. I already had the pleasure of trying Brazilian churrasco but never actually been to a Portuguese one. First impressions we're a little skeptical. At the first glance you notice the rough edges and turn super judgey, but then you look at the food prices and immediately get hooked. There are several different types of BBQ items. From grilled to rotisserie chicken and even smoked back ribs. So I was immediately hooked. I got the whole grilled chicken with a large side of roasted potatoes. Oh my gosh, the taste is amazing, that smokiness and charriness of the chicken is unlike anything I've tried in Toronto. Inside, chicken was juicy and not too dry. The flavors are well balanced and not spicy, which means everyone can enjoy. The roasted potatoes were perfect to the T. Will I be going back there? Absolutely! Am I going to order back ribs next time? Hell Yeah! And of course, they reminded me to order the back ribs an hour early, cause they always make a fresh batch. I'll give Churrasco of St Clair a 10/10. Truly, a hidden gem.

I had ordered from Churrasco for my sons first birthday, and let me tell you every single person at my Portuguese filled room was in aw with the food and quality at this place!The food was my biggest concern and it turned out amazing. I was very happy and satisfied with the outcome and quality of their food. Met our expectations and more. Will definitely be ordering catering in the future.

Appreciate the friendly service, ordered the family meal and got heaping generous portions of rice, and the potatoes are absolutely flavourful . The charcoal chicken was unreal and even more with their hot sauce. Thank you!!

Very good grilled chicken with their 3 homemade sauces! The spicy sauce has some smoky taste to it which goes well with the chicken. Their rice and mini potatos are good especially with the honey garlic sauce. The guys there are very nice, and gave us extra rice and potatos for us to eat at the park

The best grilled and BBQ chicken ever! The sides (their famous potatoes, rice and the delicious coleslaw) are a must when ordering here and don't forget about the super tender and well cooked ribs (one hour pre order). I'll definitely keep buying here but I'll add a jar of hot sauce next time!Pd. Si buscas un pollo asado como los de México, esta también es tu opción.

I have worked with them for catering events and have nothing but praise for this team. Describe your event and they will give great recommendations with perfect instructions for reheating or serving as needed. Smooth pick-up and the food is absolutely top notch. That sauce!!!

I was in the area and thought I would try this place, as it's on many of the city's 'best' lists for Portuguese chicken. I ordered the combo chicken dinner for takeout. The chicken was very dry and it obviously was not freshly cooked the same day. Potatoes were very oily, also seemed at least a day old. The meal was a disappointment. At least the the guy at the counter was friendly but that's not enough to make me a repeat customer
