My first contact with staff was very professional, friendly and responsive. This carried through to pick-up, delivery, and drop-off. Although we packed ourselves, everything arrived in top shape. Everyone from local manager (Ladysmith) to drop-off driver to phone staff was excellent. And we saved a ton of money moving across Canada. No hesitation in recommending BSB!

We just moved from North Dundas to Petawawa using Big Steel Box and we were extremely pleased with all aspects of their service.From the initial quote, to the drop off, transfer, and delivery, everything went flawlessly. They arrived exactly when they said they would with a 20' clean, secure container that had room for our entire house. It was level and placed exactly where we wanted it. We took our time - two weeks - to load up the box and packed it right to the ceiling, which is 8'6. We used ratchet straps to secure each of four major segments. It helps to have a large item like a mattress to hold everything in place. They picked up the box on time and delivered it exactly when they said they would

Big Steel was great! Mike in Stittsville was very helpful, I stopped in twice with questions before we went with them. We were loading a container here in Ottawa to go to Calgary. Kaytlin at the office in BC was my contact to get everything set up. Very competitive prices.The manager at the Calgary yard was also very helpful when the container arrived. We had an issue which was dealt with promptly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Big Steel for moving and or storage.

Amazing company and smooth move ! We made a lot of last minute changes and the whole team at Big Steel Box was so accommodating! We originally booked with PODS then cancelled when we found Big Steel Box since they offer a larger container size and storage fees was cheaper. This worked out great for us since our house was delayed and we needed to extend our storage. Everyone was so helpful from the people on the phone to all the truck drivers! Highly highly recommend!

I recently used their services and rented a 20’ container. It arrived on time, was clean and serviceable and the driver was very friendly. Pick-up was a repeat of the same excellent customer experience. I stored my container at the Carp yard and had it delivered 6 weeks later. Again the experience was stellar. The customer services reps in BC and Mike Bigeau (Carp facility manger) we’re all excellent to deal with. I would recommend Big Steel Box without hesitation.

Very helpful and responsive which took a lot of stress off as we moved houses. Easy to reserve and accommodated our request to change the delivery date. The driver that delivered and picked up the big Steele box was super nice and friendly and it was amazing to watch him drop off the box exactly where we wanted it.

We had to move twice and needed to put all our items in a container. Couldn’t find a 20’ container anywhere until we contacted Big Steel Box. We made several changes with them including adding a second container to be stored at our new property. Their customer service was incredible. Very responsive and accommodating to all our needs. Highly recommend.

Made my cross-country move an absolute breeze. I was anxious moving provinces for the first time but was put at ease with the transparent process of delivery, pickup, storage, and move across the country. My container arrived before I did, and it was incredibly easy coordinating moving up my scheduled delivery to my new home. Highly recommended.
