Was in today to purchase some ammo and a cz457. Customer service is always top notch. The gentleman that sold to me today was knowledgeable and treated the process professionally and with actual support and suggestions. Lots of variety. P&D is one of the last ma and pop gun stores around. It always reminds me of a small town store where they greet you when you walk in and they have friendly staff every time I go thereI have purchases a number of large and small items there in the last few years and have always had outstanding service and the prices are lower than most places on the internet.I have custom ordered 2 items form them and they were brought in quickly and hassle freeHighly reccomend this store to everyone

I was there a couple of days ago to try and trade in a rifle. I like to support small businesses so I understand that you might not get amazing deals at small businesses.My rifle was in pristine condition, and I understand that the business also needs to make money. The rifle with all the accessories I had, as well as the case, retailed for about $1200. I was offered not even $600 and that included an extra 10% because I was going to trade it in for store credit. Cabela’s offered me $805 and I even got to keep my gun case. I even attached a picture of the receipt in case ya’ll don’t believe me.I was back later that day after I got my $805 from Cabela’s to pick up the firearm I wanted despite receiving a slap in the face offer, because I still wanted to support small business. I stood for 30 minutes (it was not busy) and no one even approached me to see how I was doing or to tell me that they would be with me soon. I can wait for an hour, as long as someone acknowledges I’m there, it’s basic customer service.I ended up going back to Cabela’s again and picked up the same firearm I would have otherwise would have bought at P&D. They tried to get greedy, so I took my business elsewhere.I will probably give them a second chance later in the future, but I would not recommend trading in your firearms here, as their offers are waaaaay to low.Otherwise, their prices on everything else are about the same as bigger retailers, and they sometimes have better deals on ammo, but wasn’t too happy with their customer service. I really hope that when I come back, I will receive better service.

Neat, well appointed shop. They were able to help find the parts to get a scope mounted on my 40 year old rifle.I would recommend them...good shop and good people.

Love P&D and I always make sure I stop by when I’m in town. They have the best price for bulk ammo. Also bought a used rifle from them and it’s easily one of my favourite guns!

I much prefer P&D to the big box brand stores that are under staffed, over priced and not really interested in helping customers. Really enjoy interacting with the knowledgable and friendly staff at P&D. Keep up the great work!LikeAnswer

In Edmonton, P&D is one of the last independent gun shops. They have an expansive selection of guns, ammunition & and reloading supplies. They and their local small business competition are always my first stop before Cabelas and online shopping. P&D is a cool and relaxed place staffed with knowledgeable people who enjoy the shooting sports. I highly recommend this store for thise hard to get items.

If you are looking for a small town experience in a big city, this is the best place to go. Staff are friendly and available to help out answer any questions, they have a gun smith on site to bore sight your scope. Nicely laid out, very clean, well lit, and puppers there to greet you. The big box stores are hit and miss for talking with someone who actually knows guns and ammo. Phil is super friendly and knowledgeable, I think everyone should take a trip here!
