Peter Lougheed Centre- Emergency Room

Parking is a nightmare here! Had an appointment in outpatient clinics and had to park somewhere else. This hospital needs more parking for the amount of people that come through here

Went there around 2:30pm. Busy time. The nurse been nice and polite to me. While in the waiting process, after 5pm, if you want to ask question, you need to line up to ask the nurse, they seem so busy. But I could tell the nurse are a bit tired, so they may not seem very enthusiastic but still polite. I see this man suffer behind my line is in pain for hours. I feel so bad, but they do lift up his case before me, that’s good.Doctor is super nice and considerate. My case is not emergency, so I wait for quite a long time, around 6 hours.Avoid the busy time, maybe 5 am will be better.

I do not think that you help people because I brought my son who is 9 years old and he has severe redness in his eyes and they secrete a yellow substance and I waited more than 4 hours in the emergency room and the doctor did not come to see him and he cried and said I want to go home because no one will come to help me and we came He comes home at nine o'clock at night, and he has school tomorrow

Came in at 1230 for a dislocated jaw that dislocated at 12 am, since being in the pandemic response area I have been treated beyond rude the the nursing safe ex when I said excuse me I get glared at I ask a question I get shoes away like a dog. Jaw has been dislocated for 5 hours now and still no doctor. HOW IS THIS OK, HOW IS THIS HOSPITAL STILL FUNCTIONING?!

My mom was suffering from back pain and her family doctor was not very helpful. She was in so much pain that we decided to take her to the emergency at Peter Lougheed hospital. We made sure to go early to try to avoid the long wait. Even though the wait was long ( we were there for a total of 4 hours... so not too bad) I have a deep appreciation for every single person that works there. The staff was extremely kind, helpful and friendly. Dr. Robyn Palmer was knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. She even printed out thorough instructions on what next steps to take for my mother. It was heartbreaking to have to witness what people go through in emergency, but to watch the entire staff work so hard to take care of everyone, it shows that there really are good people in this world.

My 14years kid injured while playing and we went there in emergency near 3pm after-school but the staff behavior with my kid is very disappointed and it's 9pm we are still in hospital, doctor came at 9pm it is really kind of harassment taken a very long time,

Worst place ever, I went there for chest pain due to fell down from the ladder, waiting for 3 hours with alot of pain, when the doctor checked me up, he was like oh your are OK just take pain killer and go to work tomorrow. Then tomorrow I went for exry and the result was fractured on my rib. For almost a month I was out of work. Still some time i have pain on my rib. Please hire extra and experienced doctors.
