Chris Jerk is a high-traffic, up tempo Caribbean food takeout that emphasizes Jerk cuisine. The eatery’s decor is immediately inviting as is the options on the menu.Food is served in one size with the option to order an extra side in a smaller container. Chris himself is on the food line making sure that meals are packaged and served to customers with ultimate attention.I ordered the Jerk BAR-B-Q Tenders with rice and peas and coleslaw. Bae and our guest ordered Jerk Chicken with salad (which is carrots and broccoli).Overall the chicken is well cooked and succulent. Chris and team used fresh ingredients and herbs which made the meat, rice and coleslaw pop.If you are a Jerk traditionalist, this may not be for you as the Jerk dishes are not prepared in a Jerk Drum. Jerk seasoning is added to the chicken; also, this location is not a Bistro (there is no space to sit indoors or outdoors as with a traditional Bistro), rather it is a takeout.Chris Jerk has a variety of beverages to compliment your meal. He has a selection of house beverages and I recommend his Seamoss beverage.The staff is knowledgeable and accurate making sure to get your order right. You will experience a longer than usual wait time so enjoy music from the Caribbean and make friends with other customers!There is ample parking available to customers in the shared plaza and signage of the eatery is very clear so you won’t miss this spot (see photos attached).Overall, I love the food presentation, beverages and staff … if they add a Jerk Drum I would love that! They are open 11am to 8pm!

Best place to get Caribbean food. Dispite the long lineup of customers waiting for their food, the food came out relatively quick. Food tasted good and the sauce was very delicious. Portions size was also reasonable. Service was okay and they only do takeout.

Delicious food, good portion sizes, and overall great value! I’m really glad we tried this place out, and it’s definitely somewhere I’d love to come back to. The hot sauce that came with the order was also really good—worth a special mention!

I have tried a few different places but this is now my new favorite spot. The food was fresh, hot and real flavorful, you could even brag about the rice. Great pricing and big portions. We ordered the curry goat, stew beef, and chicken shawarma salad. Everything was amazing! The service was fast and efficient. The ladies at the register were pleasant. The place was really busy, but its obvious why. I'll be back again for sure to try more off the menu.

What a delicious spot for Caribbean food. We ordered the curried chicken with a side of jerk chicken and both were delicious. The curry had superb flavour and the chicken was perfectly cooked.They offer complimentary hot sauce on the side and you should definitely get that with your order. It completes the meal.Awesome stuff team Chris Jerk. Will be back for more.

Heard some good things about this place so I gave it a try today. For $15, I got the jerk chicken entree which came with rice and beans, plantains, carrots and cabbage. Overall I just found it to be average. I was hoping for a smoky flavour but there was none. The hot sauce was very good though.

Great not so hidden spot in Scarborough. Well worth the drive to try their shawarma poutine. Their jerk chicken is also delicious! Come early as they run out of their famous shawarma chicken in the afternoon. Ask them for jerk chicken poutine instead, it isn’t as good but at least you wont have driven for nothing.

Chris Jerk is absolutely incredible. This is by far the best Caribbean food I have ever eaten. The jerk chicken is fantastic. I always get the jerk chicken shawarma poutine and it will change your life. Everyone needs to check this place out, it is worth the drive.

I drove past Chris Jerk a few times in the past, I decided to give them a try. I walked in and saw a lot of customers waiting for their food, this must be a good sign. I ordered a jerk chicken entree nd their stew Beef lunch special. The portion was generous and tasted very good. The chicken was succulent but the gravy was a little salty. Overall good food

I’m lucky to in the neighborhood. The shawarma plate is a worthy go to, but the poutine is too good to pass sometimes. Tasty chicken made crispy and smothered in gravy, with fluffy rice and sweet fried plantains.One of the best Jamaican restaurants in the city in my opinion.
