It's a great shopping experience all around! Fair prices, friendly staff and the lineups are not huge. Worth a visit!

Although they had a great selection of items, the pricing on some items is absolutely horrendous. This is a second hand store. They get their products for free and many items I found had original price tags on them from retail outlets and the pricing was barely less than retail. In some cases it was more (Dollarama items commonly more). As much as I love thrifting, this store will no longer be on my roster. I feel bad for families shopping on a budget as this could be comparable to shopping at Walmart. Let's have better and more consistency and transparency in pricing Value Village. Other Value Village locations pricing has not been as high as this store.

Sells broken wiis for $50. Over the course of a year I've tried 5 from them. 4 of the 5: broken. The tested" labels on them DONT MEAN ANYTHING. Test your electronics before you buy them. I couldn't even return this trash because I had already put stickers on them. Over $100 was wasted on this place yesterday

Often the prices are equal to new retail pricing, and frustrating that they removed their changerooms permanently here in St. Catharines. (The Toronto stores still have changerooms). I am also disappointed that Value Village is no longer affiliated with the Canadian Diabetes Assoc.; Value Village used to make donations to them based on the amount of materials received. I don't know what charity they are now connected to.

Love that they sell baby clothes by the bags however they are often soiled. The toys are frequently missing pieces which makes it hard to justify purchases from there moving forward. If you're into refinishing furniture, you'll find some good deals.

There is now a sign that says it is a for-profit organization that supports nonprofit organizations. Some items are a little pricey for used - 1 mason jar for $3, when you can buy a whole unused pack for a little more at another store. Other items were fairly priced such as clothing and toys. The books were a steal with buy 4 and get 5th free.Very clean and organized. Friendly checkout staff with an option for self checkout.

Would 100% rate this zero if I could. Clearly they have fake reviews, if you go to some of the profiles it’s all five stars for places all over! Also, there’s negative reviews that are somehow 5 stars?? The prices are insane!! There was a ripped pair of fruit of the loom sweat pants that were $15, when you can buy them BRAND NEW at Walmart for $11. When I brought this to the employees attention they just said “that’s how it is”. I’ve seen jackets for hundreds of dollars, and have heard through the grape vine that they have to hold a specific value across their entire store, and that’s why prices are so high… if they have to do that, CLEARLY it’s for profit. It’s disgusting. I don’t care if thrifting is trendy, there are still people who are in need of affordable clothing. You get everything for free, how can you sleep at night jacking the prices up this high. It’s repulsive. I’ll be taking the time to go through every single review and reporting anything suspicious to hopefully get a review that actually reflects this vile establishment.

Love Value Village. Usually my thrifting go-to due to the size of the store. Not sure how I feel about the change rooms being gone but the 14 day exchange policy on clothes has always worked out fine for me. Sometimes items can be priced higher than they should but sometimes they’re priced lower so it all works out. Some of the items I’ve gotten here have become staples in my wardrobe. :)

Some products are even more expensive than brand new ones. I feel they mark prices randomly, beause some prices don't make any sense. They got everything for free from donations, but it is not a nonprofit business.

A place for some good finds but the prices are quite terrible unless you get lucky and really only worth it if you have a coupon to use. Too often are men's shoes far too worn on the sole to actually be worth buying.
