Really great atmosphere and excellent service. Really enjoyed the food it was certainly top notch, not nearly as busy as The Keg so no wait time and the food was as good or better. Prices were basically in line with The Keg maybe slightly more but I'd pay it to not have to wait, Keg was an hour and we walked right in at dinner time. Would recommend, had the blue cheese filet and it was fantastic.

Food was great but I came here to review because we were just in awe of their level of service. Such genuinely friendly, attentive staff and an all hands on deck approach where every staff member had each other's backs. It was pretty busy but they did not miss a beat with keeping glasses full, asking how each course is, etc. I shared a piece of my steak with my boyfriend who had ordered salmon and he said it's so tender I can cut it with my butter knife" and another server overheard and appeared 2 seconds later with a steak knife just in case."

Well it took 1 hour and 10 mins to get the food we ordered. The steak was cooked to much so had to return it and the lamb my budy ordered was cold. Also one of the other dishes was grissly chicken and under cooked. So out of 5 dishes we had 2 good ones not really great at all. Over all for the price and quality we all would never come back. The building is nice but if the food is not ruins it all.

The steak was OK, this is because my friend had a well grilled steak and I didn't. The steak I had is from an unexperienced chef.... the steak grilled without enough oil on it and the temperature was not high enough.. So the steak does not have crust... And it was cooked for too longThe good thing is they have lots of choices on steak. And I don't know why, their dessert is outstanding. Service is great, but my steak took about 40mins...Overall, a good place

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and we had an enjoyable evening. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and the chocolate cheesecake was excellent. The gentleman who served us couldn't have been better. Thank you.

I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary back in December and we had a lovely dinner! We made reservations through open table, no problem. We had a later dinner but there were still a good amount of people there and I don't find that we had long waits for the food or anything. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! Even had a Bourbon and cream mushroom soup (I am not a mushroom fan) and I damn near licked the bowl clean. From apps to dessert, all the food was great! Server was great too! Will be back again

Went here for their NYE price fixed menu. At $100 per person, it was definitely not worth it for me. My steak actually came out cold and they had to put it back on the grill to warm it up. This obviously took it from the medium that I ordered to a medium-well. The host was amazing though and probably the only saving grace for that night. I would not return any time soon.

Terrible experience for my first visit. Came alone at 6pm on a Sunday. Sat me in a very nice seat. Took 15 minutes to finally receive drinks. Asked for medium rare steak and when I finally received it, it was over cooked and dry I had problems swallowing it. The guy server didn't ask how my good was or refresh my water. No tip for this gentleman who was clearly flirting with another waitress and not caring about the paying customer. I won't be back to this establishment. Overall atmosphere great but service and food is garbage. For $37 for a steak save your money and go to the Golf's steakhouse. At least I get great service and food there for the money.

Went here for dinner with my girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. They offered a good prix fixed menu with a variety of different dishes, including vegetarian and gluten free choices. I ordered the beef carpaccio for my appetizer and it was ok. I’ve never had it before, but the beef was a little lacking in flavour even with the pepper on it. I imagine it would have been much better if paired with a wine. For our mains I had the filet mignon and she had the New York strip. Both came with seasonal vegetables and garlic mash potatoes. The potatoes were almost TOO garlicky. My filet was delicious. Her New York strip was a rather bad cut of meat having lots of tendons/veins, and more fat than I have ever seen in a New York strip. Both were cooked properly however. The desserts are still in my fridge waiting to be eaten. The reason we got our desserts to go though, is because of how long this whole night took.We made reservations for 8:30. Sat down a little after that time. Waited until 9 to get our h’orderves, another 40 minutes after that to get our appetizers, and then another 30 minutes to get our mains. We finished eating at 10:30 and had to leave because of or work schedules. I expect the place to be busy, and I expect slower than normal service, but 2 hours?!?!? You’ve got to be kidding me. And then on top of that, because it was V-day, they add the gratuity on the bill themselves. So after tax and their 18% tip they gave themselves, dinner for two with only water to drink came to $196. That is ridiculous for the slow service. Very friendly but way too slow.TLDR; decent food, friendly service, BEYOND slow. Go here not a special day or a holiday.

For my birthday my wife took me to Wildfire in Waterloo. The atmosphere was great. The location is well decorated and has a great intimate vibe. I had the French onion soup, grilled salmon, and creme brulee. All three of these menu items were fantastic. The group that I went with (6) had various other menu items and all mentioned they had really enjoyed the food. Our waitress Shannon was very kind and attentive and the host Jodi was also very sure to ensure we enjoyed our time. The prices are in line with The Keg and I felt the experience was a little nicer.
