We visited European Textiles (while on a trip from Ottawa) looking for fabric for two specific projects. At the home decor store, Aliki was super-helpful without being pushy, and helped us find exactly what I needed for cushions and chair covers. Then I visited the quilting store and encountered the same helpful, friendly staff. Great stores, great selection, friendly service. Oh how I wish they were in Ottawa instead of on Ottawa Street!

This is one of a kind special customer service during lockdown for covid. Photos were emailed and upon me picking my colors for batiks. They then quickly sent a photo of my choices for confirmation. Best quality of batiks with vibrant colors. When you team up the quality with fantastic professional customer service and great shipping prices....Why shop anywhere else.

I needed to cover my dining room chairs and went to European textiles for fabric. On entering the store I was impressed about how clean and organized it was. I was greeted and directed to fabrics suitable for my project. I bought a small piece of the recommended fabric to try at home.It was perfect. On returning the same gentleman helped me make a decision on a coordinating fabric. The chairs are done and I'm so happy with the result! I would highly recommend this store on Ottawa street.

Absolutely adore this store and highly recommend it to anyone tackling a project.I had my wedding dress made by a family friend using a pattern I had purchased. I was picking up the fabric I wanted to use, but way over my head in terms of how much fabric I needed and what fabric to use (since I have never sewed before). Fortunately, they were so knowledgable and patient at European Textiles Fashion and they helped me decide on a fabric and the amount I would need. But they didn't have enough in store!They said they would order some in and call once they received it. Luckily within a week they got the fabric in!They also helped me choose and measure out fabric for two veils: finger-tip and cathedral length.This store is amazing and I love my wedding dress. It turned out perfectly and I am so grateful for their help in the designing process.

I have a small business and coming here to pick out my fabrics is the highlight of my day! When you enter, you are greeted with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They really go above and beyond in customer service. It is always such a lovely experience. The fabrics are so well organized it really makes finding the perfect pattern very easy. The quality of fabric is far more superior to any other I’ve used from other shops (and I’ve been to quite a few). If you shop here, you’ll shop here for life. I travel nearly an hour just to have the pleasure of getting my fabric from this location.

My favourite fabric store in the area. Always super helpful with a second opinion, fabric matching, or if I need help with regards to appropriate fabrics for garment making (not my strong point). Fantastic selection of solids (and good price) and other trendy and children's fabrics. Just did curbside order and order was ready same day (and they combined my orders because I forgot yardage on my first).

Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I shop here quite a bit and would recommend it! They’ve got a huge selection of fabrics and will help you with anything you need.
