Vegano

I wish I could give a good review, however the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We have been using Vegano for a couple months and they forget items and then refund a lesser amount, taking off the entire amount of our discount that we would have gotten on the entire order. A discount we got from another faulty order.We feel like we are being ripped off by this company, which is unfortunate because we would like to support vegan places. However we do not recommend. Also their packaging is not recyclable, unless you bring it yourself to London Drugs. Lastly, they recommend to put their ice pack filling down the sink but don't do this! It messed up our plumbing system and we had to hire a plumber to come fix it.Also they sent us some products that were expired and didn't disclose why they were on sale.Fresh Prep has great vegan meals and customer service is on point.

I am very happy that Vegano switched to ready made meals. They have a good variety of menus and it is very convenient to just reheat it. There are some meals that i liked more than others, but overall i am happy with the service and will continue to order. Customer support was very responsive in my experience and we got reimbursement for one case when the meal kit overflowed in the box.

It used to be good… they made the move from prep home meal kits to ready made which is really unfortunate but my issue isn’t so much with their meals, it’s with their customer service. Since there’s no way to pause your account or deactivate it without contacting customer service, you manually have to go in and “skip” the box every week. Despite doing all of that in the past few weeks I was charged for a box which was never even delivered. When contacting their customer service to be reimbursed and have my account suspended they informed me that they would not be reimbursing me for the box that I never ordered nor received! Now I have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. All my communications have been with “Andie” who has been incredibly unhelpful. Customer service is lacking significantly.

I order from them beginning of December, got a order confirmation but never a shipment. Not able to contact anyone. Got a shipping confirmation 4 days ago with XPRESSPOST still nothing and no tracking is this a Joke????? Contacting Better Business Bureau......Sending out wrong information ....

Long list of issues with this company and their products... I had a long human hair in one of my meals and tried multiple times to contact their customer service and was told a manger would get back to me but never heard back from them. Ended up throwing the remaining meals away and am now out the money.Furthermore, they changed over to a ready-made meal company and the food quality has suffered. Everything is quite soggy and goes bad quickly, so unless you can eat every single meal you receive within about 36 hours it is no longer edible.Finally, with other meal box subscription services you have a fair degree of leniency if something comes up if you need to cancel or reschedule deliveries. If you are even an hour late changing your order with Vegano they refuse and charge you the full amount. Highly recommend avoiding this company and going with somewhere more reputable like FreshPrep, which has a number of veggie and vegan options each week. Any time I've had even a slight issue with FreshPrep, it has been immediately resolved. However, this company just denies accountability and refuses to respond. Definitely would not recommend them for a number of reasons.

Beyond disappointed with numerous things after my experience with Vegano…1. The meal kits were SO much better than the ready made meals. Ready made meals are a rip off in my opinion - ends up being about $12 PER PERSON to eat. Most of the time we had to make additional or food or add sauce as we were hungry or the meals we so bland2. THREE TIMES my meals were delivered with no notification. This led to the food being left out and going bad. The first two times they credited my account so I had no choice but to reuse services which leads me to -3. The third time my food was left out I had enough. I contacted support and requested to be refunded in full as it was three times I had no meals for the week and had paid $100 to throw food in the trash. For two weeks the representative said he would get back to me. Here we are one month later and they are ignoring my emails and voicemails.HORRID customer service experience and just overall impression.I recommend fresh prep as they have caring customer service, great communication and fair prices for the quality of food.

I used to LOVE Vegano when it was a meal kit service. I ordered from them every week for 6 months and the food was out of this world. Creative and interesting options every week that I was always excited to receive. I liked that they didn't salt their food so that I could salt it to my own taste. I recommended them to everyone I knew, vegan or not.Then back in mid-January they switched to ready-made meals without any warning. I tried them for 4 weeks and they were terrible. Soggy vegetables, wildly varying proportions (a small bowl that didn't fill me up at all and apparently had 900 calories!? What????), bland food because I can no longer salt as I'm cooking, and some things (Thai curry bowl) that were completely inedible (I had to throw it out it was so bad).After 4 weeks I gave up and am now ordering from FreshPrep which is fine but they only have a couple vegan options. I am devastated to lose the only fully vegan meal kit service in Vancouver. The market is already over-saturated with ready-made vegan meals of varying quality, so I'm not sure why Vegano decided to change when they were doing something unique and desirable that no one else does.I left feedback on my last round of meal reviews asking them to please reconsider bringing back at least a few of the meal kits every week to go with the ready-made meals but so far no luck. Until when/if that happens, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I'm not vegan, and I really enjoy the taste of these healthy foods.Service is amazing, super easy to order and arrives on time.Clean wonderful packaging, and easy to follow recipes make cooking a joy.I had such a great experience with you Vegano.

Absolutely love our weekly delivery of easy to cook, nutritious and delicious meals. Perfect for us as we both work full time and making a good meal at home can be daunting during the week.
