I would give -5 if there is such an option. Unprofessional, disorganized and dishonest. Chose them because they were referred by real restate agent and had the lowest all-in pricing compared to 2 other lawyers. Signed the contract with them 3 weeks before closing and triple confirmed their all-in pricing (for selling and buying, I even listed all breakdown in detail). Never heard from them ever since. Contacted them 3 days before closing and they barely got started. I asked all related parties (mortgage specialist, home insurance agent, real estate agent, seller's lawyers) to send them email early but they could find none when they actually need the information. They contacted the wrong mortgage agent and over-stated our penalty/mortgage fee by ~C$1600. To get the numbers right I had to spend 8 hours on phone 1 day before closing , asking mortgage specialist details and convince them they were wrong. In the end my mortgage specialist asked what is there to be done by the lawyer if you do their job already? We went to their office that night to double check numbers and found out they charged another C$900, claiming the all-in price we agreed on previously were for selling contract only, AND THEY THREATENED THAT WE SHOULD LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE IF WE DO NOT PAY, ONE DAY BEFORE CLOSING. If this is not daylight robbery what is? After a very ugly argument we reached a very unpleasing mid-ground. A week later, on the clearing date they miscalculated their fee AGAIN. We found out the mistake and corrected. Overall terrible experience. Rip off + can't calculate anything right. You can easily lose several thousand bucks if you do not verify their numbers line by line.

I doubt anyone from David hao will read this. I sold my Toronto house and was charged property tax by the city two weeks later. Now I am trying to get my money back and my lawyer won't take responsibility and help. Tried researching this issue online. This should be illegal.After closing if they messed anything up they won't help you. Very stressful experience.Avoid.

I recently sold a second my second property with David and thought I would share my experience. I've used David's services since 2010 and bought and sold 3 properties (2 condos and 1 house). David and his team (Lulu and Victor) are very experienced and know exactly what they are doing in the real estate business. They have very fair prices for their services and they answer all your questions and they provide very good advice even when you didn't think of it. I never had any issues with David or his team, so I highly recommend them!

Avoid at all cost, a horrible experience. I found out they made a mistake and registered the wrong locker, then they had the audacity to ask for additional payment to fix their own mistake. Had to argue and fight to have them fix their own mistake and difficulty in communicating each step of the way. Lack a basic level of professionalism and ethics. Steer clear.
