I have never been to a Chinese restaurant that had the most bland taste and lack of ingredients that make up a fried rice. Lacked green onion, onion, carrots, green peas and eggs. It had barely any chicken (chicken fried rice) but thats to be expected. Now besides that, the wonton is somewhat ok, lacks green onions (again). The chicken satai (chicken with peanut sauce) tastes like chicken and vegetables, there is no tastes of an actual peanut sauce which is disappointing but not as bad as the fries rice. Now the chicken and its vegetables were good and fresh but lacks that final touch that makes a dish what it is. Lastly, i had the honey garlic spare ribs, which were surprisingly pretty good and the only reason why i gave them a 2 star rating. It was fresh and tasty and had the full ingredients unlike their other dishes. Besides the food, the staff were okay, place is clean. All thats missing is the completion of their dishes. You cannot list things and barely finish the actual dish. Will be my last visit at this restaurant.

This restaurant has literally the best Chinese food. I've tried several places and no one would ever have the good food at Ken Ching. This place is recommended for family gatherings, atmosphere is not the romantic calm kind of atmosphere. Portion size is great as well. Tried several dishes at several visits and they all taste so delicious. Waiters are helpful and friendly although always in a rush. Highly suggested and definitely will visit again and again.

I don’t make it a habit to review restaurants poorly because they’ve had a tough time during the pandemic, but this time I need to be candid. We had the Combo #2, takeaway. The Wonton soup was fine, so were the rolls. The fried rice was also ok, not spectacular but good.Onto the peanut dumplings. They seemed to just be thrown into the styrofoam container and topped with sauce. They stuck to the container and to each other and were just a mess (see photo). The General Tao was also pretty awful. I’m confident enough to say that I’ve made better homemade General Tao. It was 90% batter, which in turn was over-fried. The sauce on both of those dishes were ok though.Overall for $51 tax-in, you’re getting a lot of food, but one must weigh whether they value quantity over quality. In this case, I would have been content with less in favor of the poor quality I reluctantly consumed.Won’t be back.

We arrived into the hot and humid restaurant, and we were quickly seated. The reastaurant was about 90% full.It took over 25 minutes for the gentleman at the cash to take our order, as he was collecting from other clients paying their bills. Finally, after taking our order, he took orders from other tables also, then bombarded the kitchen with the orders. Our order came about 15 min later. We ordered the Combo #2. We substituded the spring rolls for egg rolls, (paid extra), which seemed to be reheated in an oven, Won Ton Soup was bland, peanut butter dumplings were tasty, fried rice, that terrible, the peas and carrots looked old from the freezer, no taste. The cantonese noodles had 2 pieces of pork, some previously frozen tasteles shrimp, and some calamari, a mushroom and two brocoli florets. The general tao was mediocer. The person taking the order has to learn how to be pleasent. The only thing good here is the young kids cleaning the tables and the person bringing the food.

This restaurant has started to be VERY lazy. So lazy, that they probably go to IGA, and get FROZEN CHINESE FOOD. Instead of this Restaurant" I recommend more PF Chang

Prepare to guess if your chicken was squealing or mumuing before getting on your plate! Chicken I ordered there was in fact pork soaked in odor removing solution, hence it was not fresh at all! Wonton dumplings only ingredient was dough. Nothing tasted right or fresh after that squealing chicken, tbh.

We tried chicken general tao, steam rice and Cantonese chicken noodles, it was so tasty and delicious. They served very good portion. The best Chinese food in Laval. I'll definitely recomend it!

Great food and atmosphere but their service needs a lot of help. They need to represent a welcoming friendly environment which they currently do not. They're not rude just not friendly either.

Nice little restaurant, fried rice was good , the fried noodles were a little stale . Loved the salt pepper pork . Decent portions for price . Lots of options on menu . Varieties of soups and meat dishes . 8.3/10
