I've had the fortune of training with many martial artists and coaches over almost 20 years of training, although mostly in grappling context. I was nervous to join the kickboxing at first, as I make my money with my brain, and I didn't want to get my head knocked in. I knew Stan is a martial arts legend (not only as competitor but also coach) and frankly, I was intimidated to join. As soon as I met Stan, my concerns washed away, as I was greeted by smiles and someone who obviously cares deeply about his students. The environment is safe in all the ways I hoped it would be, yet the teaching is as legit as it gets. I'm only a few months in, but I can say that Stan is absolutely world class in every way, and I can't speak highly enough of his process, environment, culture, and teaching ability. It is an honour to train with Stan and I only wish I had started sooner. Thanks Stan for all you do, and the excellent team you have surrounded yourself with.
