My dad and I used to stop here, on our way to Beecher bay marina fishing when I was a kid. They sold marine gasoline. Two old pumps. Still working. Mid 80's. So sad there gone!! Wish they would re install the pumps and tanks. William head Service station. As everyone knew it was.

Was stopping to shop there and my daughter needed the washroom in an upset-tummy emergency. They refused. She's eight. Where else did they expect us to go? The parking lot? Also, they have sanitizer and face masks there at inflated prices. Ended up going to Pedder Bay Marina instead, they were awesome and opened the store for us.

Horrible staff, service and product and I saw a mouse in there. So gross. They turn the fridges off at night and sell expired products so beware of buying dairy and food products unless you want to be sick with food poisoning.

Metchosin Country Store
This store is not only historical but also one of the local gems and a true hub of the community. They keep the store well stocked with all the necessities and many things the average local and camper/tourist may need. Prices are reasonable and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The current owner has personally worked very hard to make the outside beautiful and it shows. The world needs more people like him and his family.
