Roland's Creekside Pub
The server we had was extremely rude, and had a terrible attitude when asked questions. She often had to be asked repeatedly for things she kept forgetting the first time. We felt we were getting discriminated against as we were the only of-colour people in there and the way she interacted with our group versus others was significantly different. As we came with a big group (10 people) gratuity was included at 20%. So our server really had no motivation to give us good service as she was promised a tip anyways. Our friends asked to use the darts and they made them wait even though they were placed minutes ago behind the counter by another group finishing up. The food was good but if you’re a person of colour, I would not recommend going here. It truly ruined our birthday Whistler trip having to deal with this unprofessional server.

Roland's has been our favorite Whistler pub for many years. The food is very good and the staff are full of fun and so accommodating. We always take our visitors to Roland's and they always have a great time.

Had always heard how great Rowlands is and finally got around to visiting. Lived up to every expectation! Food was great and service was better! Definitely hoping to go again and spend a little more time there!

Being tourists from overseas we struggle with the wait times at Whistler resturants and Roland's was no exception. The place was heaving when we arrived and there was a line up at the door. Fortunately the server processed everyone promptly and we were soon seated. Typical pub fare and wide beer selection. Great service considering how busy the place was.

Weird, unfortunate experience overall.Came to celebrate and the round of drinks took a long time to come. Water glasses constantly empty, and the server upgraded the size, and price, of my order without my request.There are sooooo many local hangouts I’d recommend above Rowland’s.

OMG! My husband was having TBO's while eating the most delicious veggie burger we've ever had!Then, this key lime tart took us over the edge. Seriously, it's hand made. We've been here before and we never miss a visit when we're in Whistler. The outside patio was wonderful. Super friendly staff!

I visited here with my friends for dinner, and I want to share my bad experiences. I'm a local in whistler for 15 years, I never had this rude service from any servers. We ordered many beers during staying, and one of my friends ordered cider, but it was not served for a while. Then I tried to ask our server, Is it for my table?". She said

Been a few times to this place, solely because the food is great. Service could improve, I always want more drinks but can never get the servers attention. One time I ordered a Caesar and tried to get the attention of my server three times as she walked from the table to my left to the table to my right, not being aware of me at all. After 20-25 minutes of trying to ordered a second Caesar I walked out. I would have liked to continue ordering drinks and then food had I had the service to do so. I just went back and although the service had improved it still wasn’t great. Management, could you teach your staff to have floor awareness, if you are walking by one of your table, look to see if their drink is low, or if they are making eye contact, of in my case yelling “excuse me”. Despite the casual service, the food has always been great pub food. Especially the steak sandwich which has fantastic fried onions with it. Also, wear warm clothing in the winter. It’s always freezing and as a result everyone wears their coats.
